Orpheus, Ostara, and Grox are the standout picks in the latest located Gods & Demons hero ranking. Pocket Gamer’s list, updated October 5, 2026 for version 3.0.10, places all three in S+. It is a published editorial snapshot, not a live or officially endorsed meta: the page says the game has been removed from the App Store and Google Play and that the list will no longer be updated.
Gods & Demons tier list
The table follows Pocket Gamer’s published ordering. Tier labels reflect that guide’s editorial judgment; they are not measured performance ratings. Some names and subtitles are inconsistent in the source, so the entries below preserve its wording rather than silently correcting them.

Why Orpheus, Ostara, and Grox lead the list
Orpheus: area damage
Pocket Gamer describes Orpheus as an area-of-effect (AoE) damage dealer whose power increases at HP thresholds reported as 50%, then 60%, then 70% as the ability levels. Those are the guide’s descriptions of the ability, not independently tested performance data.

Ostara: healing and team support
The guide calls Ostara its best healer, pointing to damage mitigation, healing, allied attack and critical-hit buffs, and effects that trigger on her death. That combination makes her the ranking’s clearest support pick.
Grox: durable tank
Grox is presented as a tank who can taunt enemies, curse them to take additional damage later, and revive once per battle. These are qualitative descriptions from the tier-list author, not guarantees of results in every mode or team.
Rank #2
Strong options beyond the top three
The ranking also highlights heroes whose value depends on the job a team needs them to do:
- Seraphel (S): can revive fallen allies and heal, making recovery a defining part of the role described by Pocket Gamer.
- Freni (S): deals AoE magic damage and can Silence bleeding enemies.
- Liana (S): brings healing, buffs, crowd-control resistance, and debuff removal; the guide says her damage reflection becomes available at skill level 3.
- Ella (A): is noted for AoE true damage, which the guide identifies as useful in story mode.
- Rein (A): can make extra attacks that synergize with hits from allies.
- Luna (A): is described as an early-to-mid-game Legendary healer who can apply regeneration and dispel debuffs.
How to choose whom to build
Use the tiers as a shortlist, then choose based on your roster and intended mode. Pocket Gamer says most Mythic heroes can work with decent team synergy, while duplicates help with ascension and Mythic duplicates may be difficult to obtain. It also notes that Rebirth resets an upgraded hero to level 1.
Rank #3
- Ultimate Legends HD – Inosuke Hashibira delivers a high-quality figure created to look exactly like your favorite character from the popular anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
- Each character in the Ultimate Legend HD series is approximately 5 inches tall with 27 points of articulation
- Ultimate Legends HD series features extra accessories and a collectible package. Accessories include 2 Nichirin Swords and an extra set of hands
- Collectible packaging with beautiful art reveal on the inside of the cover
- Recreate iconic scenes from the anime. Look for more characters from the Ultimate Legends series and grow your collection. Ages 4+
- Fill a team role: Decide whether the roster needs damage, healing, support, control, or a durable front line before choosing solely by tier.
- Account for synergy: A hero’s effects may be more useful when paired with allies that enable them—for example, Freni’s Silence against bleeding enemies or Rein’s extra attacks alongside allied hits.
- Consider investment and availability: Ascension depends on duplicates, and the guide cautions that Mythic copies can be difficult to obtain. A highly ranked hero may not be the most practical investment if you cannot build or support them.
- Match the mode: The guide specifically calls out story mode for Ella and mentions Arena in its broader roster guidance. A ranking is not proof that every hero performs equally well in every mode.
- Weigh the reset cost: Because Rebirth returns an upgraded hero to level 1, plan upgrades with that reset in mind.
How current and reliable is this tier list?
Pocket Gamer’s page is dated October 5, 2026 and identifies version 3.0.10, but it also says it will no longer update the list after the game’s removal from both major app stores. Store availability can change by region and over time, so that statement should be read in the context of the page rather than as a guarantee about every player’s access today.
The ranking is editorial opinion, not a measured leaderboard: the reviewed guides provide no attributable win rate, sample size, or performance statistic that validates the tier order. An earlier Breakflip list dated January 15, 2025 also placed Orpheus, Ostara, and Grox in its top tier, but labeled them S rather than S+. It used a different tier structure and is an earlier editorial comparison, not confirmation of a balance change or of the later list’s rankings.
Rank #4
- 4 inches tall
- compatible with other glyos figures
Breakflip explicitly frames its list as subjective and a starting point for team creation. Read both rankings as guidance, not as an official or continuously maintained assessment. Breakflip’s January 2025 Gods & Demons tier list provides that earlier comparison.
