Can your PC run God of War: Sons of Sparta? No official PC system requirements are listed in the PlayStation support or Store pages reviewed. Those sources identify the game as a PS5 release, so there is no confirmed PC CPU, graphics card, RAM, or storage target to use as a compatibility guide.
Is God of War: Sons of Sparta available on PC?
The official PlayStation Support page lists God of War: Sons of Sparta for PS5, with a release date of February 12, 2026. The PlayStation Store product listing also identifies PS5 as its platform. Neither page documents a PC edition or PC hardware requirements. See PlayStation Support and the PlayStation Store listing.
That describes what these official pages establish; it is not a guarantee that a PC version will never be announced. If one appears, check its official listing for supported hardware before buying or upgrading components.
Why God of War (2018) PC requirements do not apply
PlayStation publishes PC requirements for God of War (2018), the separate game about Kratos and Atreus. Its minimum specification includes a GTX 960 (4 GB) or AMD R9 290X (4 GB), an Intel i5-2500K or Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB of RAM, and 70 GB of storage. Those figures belong to the 2018 game, not Sons of Sparta; they cannot establish whether this title will run on a PC. PlayStation’s God of War for PC requirements page is explicitly for that other release.

What kind of game is Sons of Sparta?
PlayStation describes Sons of Sparta as a 2D action platformer set during Kratos’ youth, with Mega Cat Studios credited as a development partner. That description does not provide a basis for estimating PC performance or choosing hardware. The platform and system requirements need to come from an official PC announcement or listing, not assumptions based on genre or another God of War game. Read the PlayStation announcement.
How to check for a future PC release
- Check the official PlayStation Support page for a platform or PC requirements update.
- Check the PlayStation Store listing for the official platform listing. A PS5 listing alone does not confirm a PC version.
- If an official PC listing appears, compare its minimum and recommended CPU, GPU, memory, and storage requirements with your computer before purchasing or upgrading.
Should you upgrade your PC for Sons of Sparta?
There is no sourced PC configuration for Sons of Sparta, so no particular graphics card, processor, memory capacity, or drive can currently be recommended on the basis of this game. Avoid using the 2018 title’s requirements as a substitute: they answer a different compatibility question.
