The US listing groups the Deluxe equipment as the “Dark Alchemy Equipment Set.” Santa Monica Studio’s preorder announcement names its components as the Dark Alchemy Armor Set, Dark Alchemy Blade, Dark Alchemy Bow Scales, and Dark Alchemy Catalyst. The PlayStation page’s shorter summary calls the bow item “Dark Alchemy Bow.” PlayStation’s US product page lists the editions and prices; Santa Monica Studio’s announcement provides the equipment names.

For a physical Standard Edition preorder, Santa Monica Studio specifies that the bonus is provided via download code. PlayStation says the code requires an internet connection and a PlayStation account, expires February 16, 2037, and unlocks the in-game items through story progression. That means the bonus content may not be usable at the start of the game.
Can you preorder the physical PS5 version?
Yes. The official listing describes Standard Edition as available physically or digitally, and identifies PS5 as the platform. The Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade are digital, so check the product format shown on the actual listing before purchase rather than relying on an edition name alone.

Choose Standard if the game is what you want
At the US page’s listed $69.99, Standard is the lower-priced option and is the only edition the page describes as physical or digital. The preorder bonus is described as applying to any edition, so the listed Deluxe extras—not the core preorder bonus—are the reason to consider paying more.

Choose Digital Deluxe for its specific extras
The listed difference between Standard and Digital Deluxe is $10. Consider whether you will use the digital mini artbook, soundtrack, Dark Alchemy equipment, and resource pack. The higher-priced edition is not automatically better value if those digital items do not matter to you.
Consider the upgrade only after confirming eligibility
The US page lists a $10 Digital Deluxe Upgrade for Standard Edition purchasers. Before buying it, confirm that the offer applies to your Standard version and PlayStation account region. The listed amount is not a promise that every buyer will see the same offer or that it will remain available.

- Format: Verify whether the specific listing is physical or digital. Standard is described in both formats; Deluxe and the listed upgrade are digital.
- Edition contents and price: Compare the live offer with the US PlayStation listing and decide whether the Deluxe extras justify its listed $10 increase over Standard.
- Upgrade eligibility: If buying the upgrade, check the storefront’s compatibility and your account region before checkout.
