D3 Publisher has announced one new standalone Girls und Panzer console game so far: Girls und Panzer: All-Star Tank Carnival, planned for Nintendo Switch 2 with a release during 2027. The announcement, dated October 9, 2026, does not confirm a second new game, so the “2 New Games” framing in the original headline is not supported by the announcement.

The announcement states that staff associated with Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match are making All-Star Tank Carnival. A contemporaneous Gematsu report also places the new title with the Dream Tank Match team. The announcement names drift action as a feature carried forward from that game. It does not provide a full credit list or a side-by-side comparison of the two games, so anything beyond the drift-based combat and the shared team should be treated as unconfirmed.

Why the “2 New Games” count does not hold
The sources reviewed for this article identify a single new standalone title. Neither the publisher’s announcement nor the Gematsu report describes a second new standalone game. Until D3 Publisher or another official source confirms one, the accurate count is one. Readers who saw a second title mentioned elsewhere should check for an official announcement from D3 Publisher before assuming it exists.
