These are platform specifications from GIGABYTE, not a guarantee that a particular retail system includes every maximum or expansion option. Confirm the exact CPU, memory, storage and board configuration with the seller for the specific SKU. GIGABYTE’s page also lists the 2TB Gen4 SSD. HotHardware reported an additional 320GB AI TOP 100 E SSD and eight SATA 6Gbps ports, details that should be treated as reported listing information rather than confirmed standard equipment. Is 768GB of RAM standard?
That is not established by GIGABYTE’s product page, which says the system supports up to 768GB of DDR5 R-DIMM memory. HotHardware’s June 9, 2025 report interpreted a listing as showing 768GB—eight 96GB modules—as standard, but the report itself cautioned that the listing might be mistaken. Can it run large AI models locally?
GIGABYTE says the AI TOP 500 TRX50 can run models with up to 405 billion parameters and promotes it as a local AI development system. That is a vendor capability claim, not an independent benchmark. The product information reviewed does not specify the model, quantization, precision, memory requirements, throughput or test method behind the figure, so it does not establish that every model of that size will run, or how quickly it would perform. How much does it cost, and is it available?
The reviewed sources do not establish a price, current stock, release date, regional availability or confirmed retailer listing. HotHardware reported on June 9, 2025 that the linked GIGABYTE listing did not mention price or availability; GIGABYTE’s product page provides specifications but no buyer price.
