From October 1 through October 31, 2026, TELUS will donate $50 to Rethink Breast Cancer for each qualifying Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, or Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra transaction. To trigger the donation, make a new activation and/or renewal through a participating TELUS store or TELUS online. The campaign is capped at $50,000 and is funded through the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation.
Which Samsung phones qualify?
TELUS names three eligible models: the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The promotion applies to qualifying transactions completed October 1–31, 2026. The donation is the same for each model; TELUS does not list a higher contribution for a particular device.
The Galaxy Z Flip8 is a compact flip-style foldable, while the Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra are book-style foldables. Choose based on the phone you want, not an assumed difference in the donation. TELUS inventory, pricing, financing, colours, warranty details, and the specific model specifications should be checked with TELUS before ordering; the campaign terms do not establish those details.

What purchase qualifies for the donation?
You must make a new activation and/or renewal through a participating TELUS store or TELUS online during the campaign period. A phone purchase from Amazon, Samsung directly, or another retailer is not stated as qualifying, so do not assume that buying an eligible model elsewhere will prompt a TELUS donation. See TELUS campaign terms.

Is the pink Galaxy Z Flip8 included?
The TELUS campaign names the Galaxy Z Flip8 without excluding a colour, so the pink version is included if the transaction meets the same TELUS activation or renewal conditions. MobileSyrup reports that the pink Galaxy Z Flip8 has 256GB of storage and a C$1,875 MSRP, the same MSRP as the graphite version. Those are reported product details, not a current TELUS price or confirmation of local availability. Read MobileSyrup’s coverage of the pink model.
TELUS and Rethink have partnered before
This is not the first TELUS campaign benefiting Rethink. In 2013, TELUS pledged $25 for every new Samsung Galaxy S4 customer through its Phones for Good campaign; the campaign resulted in a $210,000 cheque to Rethink. Read the 2013 campaign announcement.
