To get the Conductor of the “Ya-ho” in Genshin Impact, open the Paimon Menu, choose Mail, open Paimon’s “Missive of Grace: A Thank-You Gift (1/4)” message, and claim its attachments. According to a Genshin Impact guide that walks through this claim, the first mail delivers the Conductor along with 400 Primogems. The reward is an in-game Gadget, so there is nothing to buy or ship.
Claim the reward in five steps
- Open the Paimon Menu in the game.
- Select Mail.
- Find the message titled “Missive of Grace: A Thank-You Gift (1/4)”, sent by Paimon.
- Open the mail and claim its attachments.
- Check your inventory for the Conductor and your Primogem balance.
The mail title includes “(1/4)”, which marks it as the first in a series of four. Claim the first one, because the Conductor and the 400 Primogems are attached to it. Menu labels can differ slightly between game versions and platforms, so if the wording on your screen is slightly different, look for the same title and sender.
What the first mail contains
| Reward | Quantity | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Primogems | 400 | Archived in-game mail notice reported by KQM-git/GINews (2026); also named in a Genshin Impact guide describing the claim steps |
| Conductor of the “Ya-ho” | 1 | Archived in-game mail notice reported by KQM-git/GINews (2026); also named in a Genshin Impact guide describing the claim steps |
The archived notice dates the first reward to September 28, 2026. Both sources describe the same two attachments, so the first mail is the one to claim.

The same notice says each mail expires after 30 days. Its wording reads: “The mail will expire after 30 days, so don’t forget to claim the rewards in time.” If the first mail reached your mailbox on September 28, 2026, the 30-day window would end around October 28, 2026. Use the expiry shown on the mail in your own mailbox, because delivery timing can differ between accounts. A mail that has already expired cannot be recovered through this guide’s steps.
What the Conductor is
HoYoverse’s Version 7.1 update notes, as excerpted on HoYoLAB, say the update “Adds new Gadgets: ‘Conductor of the ‘Ya-ho” and ‘A Mini Trolley Problem.'” That classifies the Conductor as a Gadget. The same excerpt points readers to Event Notices for how to obtain it, which is why the mail is the route to follow.

The mail contents and dates come from an archived copy of the in-game event notice, reported by KQM-git/GINews in 2026. The step-by-step claim path comes from a Genshin Impact guide. The item category comes from HoYoverse’s Version 7.1 update notes on HoYoLAB. Because the live menu and each account’s mail state cannot be checked from public sources, the in-game mailbox remains the final authority on what you can claim.
