RTX 50 gaming desktops are listed by US retailers, but the available evidence does not confirm a specific live October 2026 discount. One well-documented recent sale—a Walmart RTX 5070 desktop promotion—ended September 27. Check the live product page and compare the complete PC, not just the GPU or a crossed-out price, before deciding whether a deal really saves you money.
Where to find RTX 50 gaming desktops
NVIDIA Marketplace and Best Buy show US listings for prebuilt desktops with RTX 50-series graphics, including RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 systems. NVIDIA Marketplace also lists RTX 5090 configurations. These are dynamic listings, not guarantees of stock, a particular price, or a recommendation of every PC shown.
What recent RTX 50 desktop promotions actually show
Walmart’s RTX 5070 offer was time-limited
Walmart’s GeForce Week page specified a September 21–27, 2026 event. It listed a CyberPowerPC desktop with an Intel Core i7-14700KF, RTX 5070 12GB Founders Edition, 32GB DDR5 and a 1TB SSD for $1,549, with a former price of $2,139.99—a retailer-advertised difference of $590.99. The event had ended by October 4, 2026, so that price is historical, not a current offer. A former price also does not establish what the same configuration typically sells for elsewhere.

Best Buy sale filters are a starting point, not proof of a bargain
Best Buy’s sale-filtered RTX 5080 desktop results have shown savings of up to $950. That search-page figure does not mean every RTX 50 desktop qualifies, nor does it establish a like-for-like comparison with the listed former price. Open the exact product page and confirm the checkout total, seller, configuration and stock.

Other advertised savings are dated claims
On June 23, 2026, STORMCRAFT PC announced selected RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 prebuilts with “up to $1,100 in savings” through channels including Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg and its own store. That was the vendor’s promotional claim at that time; it does not establish a live October deal or independently verified savings.

Keep graphics-card prices separate from desktop deals
PC Gamer’s October 1, 2026 price watch covers graphics cards, including RTX 5070 and RTX 5080 component listings. Those are not complete desktop prices and cannot establish how much a prebuilt PC should cost or how much a desktop sale saves. The roundup also characterizes RTX 50 card prices as high relative to launch pricing, which is component-market context rather than a desktop comparison.
