GamesRadar+ Replay is looking for spooky gameplay clips for October 2026. Your entry does not have to come from a horror game: a creepy moment, eerie surprise, strange glitch or full-on scare from any game could fit. There are two £250 or $250 Amazon voucher prizes, one for the best clip overall and one for the best clip in the spooky theme.
What counts as a spooky clip?
The theme is deliberately broad. GamesRadar+ says the clip need not be outright horror; it can show anything that suits the season, including creepy moments, eerie happenings or other weirdness. A horror title is one option, not a requirement. See the October 2026 Replay announcement for the theme and entry link.

These are two separate voucher awards, not cash prizes. The announcement does not specify an exact submission cutoff, and the month-end winner selection does not establish that entries close on October 31. It also does not say whether one person may enter both categories, so check the current submission form for any entry limits.

How to submit a clip
- Open the October Replay announcement or the Replay page and select “Submit your clip.”
- Review the current form for technical specifications and any October-specific rules. The October announcement does not state file-size or format requirements. A prior general explainer mentioned a 10GB limit, but that should not be assumed to govern this month’s form.
- Submit only after reading the Replay Terms & Conditions. The October article says submitting means agreeing to the terms.
Who is eligible?
The current Replay terms, version 1.1 last updated 21 October 2025, require submitters to be at least 18 and residents of the United Kingdom or United States. The terms also require you to have permission for material you contribute and to follow the relevant game publisher’s and platform’s rules. They prohibit unlawful or harmful material, harassment, privacy violations and infringement of other people’s rights. Other restrictions may apply, so read the terms and form before entering.

Understand what happens to your footage
Submitting is not just a private upload. You retain copyright in your footage, but you grant Future Publishing Limited a broad licence to use it. The terms describe that licence as non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable and sublicensable. It allows the company to host, store, reproduce, modify, edit, publish, display, perform and distribute the footage in any media or format.
The terms also say you will not be paid for those uses, will not approve the final presentation, and waive moral rights. GamesRadar+ is not required to credit you, and your footage may be shared or reused after publication. The October announcement says selected clips may be posted and shared with its audience; submission does not guarantee that your clip will be featured.

Do you need a capture card?
No. GamesRadar+’s gameplay recording guide describes built-in capture options on PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, as well as PC. These can be a practical starting point: consoles can save recent gameplay, the Switch capture button records a short segment, and PC options include NVIDIA recording and Steam Game Recording. Features and recording limits can vary by platform and change over time.
