If you want a game like Eternal Blade, start with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for deliberate combat and stealth, or Elden Ring for open-world fantasy exploration and action-RPG progression. Neither is a manga-linked counterpart: they match different parts of what makes Eternal Blade distinctive.

What makes Eternal Blade distinctive?

The official Eternal Blade site describes the game as an open-world Souls-like RPG set in the Baransu Realm. Its story follows Emerald as she seeks the Eternal Blade and gemstones to save her cursed father. The developers describe the project as manga-born and say its story has been in development for more than four years; that duration is their account, not independently verified development history.

Steam’s listing presents the game as built alongside a manga and anime screenplay, and describes combat centered on reading enemies, striking, defending, and gaining power through a perfect parry. The official site announces a printed Volume 1 collecting Chapters 1 through 5, with details forthcoming; it does not establish a release date or availability for purchase.

Which games are most like Eternal Blade?

Game Closest match Best for Important difference
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Combat timing, parrying, and stealth Players who want deliberate fights and stealth options An action adventure, not a manga-linked open-world RPG
Elden Ring Open-world fantasy and action-RPG structure Players who want broad exploration and RPG progression Its world and play structure differ from Eternal Blade’s original manga setting; the cited sources do not establish a shared combat system

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice — for combat timing and stealth

Sekiro is the stronger pick if the appeal of Eternal Blade is learning enemy timing and answering attacks with precise defense. Its official site highlights stealth, traversal, prosthetic tools, and direct combat. The Eternal Blade press kit also names Sekiro as an inspiration. That makes it a useful combat comparison, but not evidence that the games share a setting, story format, or identical mechanics.

Elden Ring — for open-world fantasy exploration

Choose Elden Ring if you are more interested in a fantasy world to explore and action-RPG progression than in a particular parry-focused combat style. FromSoftware identifies it as an action RPG on its official product page. The Eternal Blade press kit names it as an inspiration, but the available product descriptions do not establish that the two games use the same combat system.

Which one should you try first?

  • Choose Sekiro if careful timing, defensive play, and stealth are your priority.
  • Choose Elden Ring if open-world fantasy exploration and action-RPG structure matter more.
  • Wait for Eternal Blade if the key draw is its specific combination of an original manga-linked story, the Baransu Realm, and its own combat design. The developer’s published status and demo schedule can change, so check the live Steam listing for current availability.

Eternal Blade availability and PC requirements

The official site gives a demo date of October 2, 2026, and lists Steam Next Fest dates of October 19–26, 2026. These are published schedule statements, not confirmation that a demo is currently available. Check the live Steam page for the current release status.
