The iQOO 15 12GB/256GB was listed for ₹85,999 and the Samsung Galaxy S25 12GB/256GB for ₹84,999 on their India stores when checked on October 7, 2026. The iQOO was ₹1,000 more, but offers a much larger, sharper 144Hz display and a higher-capacity battery on paper. The S25 is substantially smaller and lighter. Choose between them by size and priorities—not by treating specifications as proof of real-world camera quality or battery life.
How much do the Galaxy S25 and iQOO 15 cost in India?
These are official-store prices for the matching 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations, checked on October 7, 2026. They are a snapshot, not a guarantee of stock, checkout price, or the lowest market-wide offer.

Specifications are manufacturer listings, not independent performance or endurance test results. Samsung describes its display size as a diagonal measurement; iQOO lists a 6.85-inch diagonal. The iQOO brightness figure of 6,000 nits is a local peak-brightness claim, so it should not be treated as a directly comparable general brightness measurement.

Which phone has the better screen and battery on paper?
iQOO 15: larger and higher-resolution
The iQOO 15’s 6.85-inch, 3168 × 1440 display runs at a listed 144Hz. That gives it the larger screen, higher listed resolution, and higher refresh rate in this comparison—attributes that may appeal for gaming, video, and spacious reading.
Galaxy S25: smaller and easier to carry
The S25 has a 6.2-inch-class FHD+ panel with a listed refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its smaller display is part of a much more compact 162g body, making it the more natural choice if pocketability and one-handed handling matter more than screen area.

Battery capacity is not battery life
iQOO lists a 7,000mAh typical battery and 100W wired charging; Samsung lists 4,000mAh typical capacity. Those figures make the iQOO the stronger paper choice for capacity and charging power, but they do not establish how long either phone lasts in comparable daily use. No like-for-like battery runtime test is established here.
Do the camera specifications make one a better camera phone?
Not by themselves. The S25 combines 50MP, 10MP, and 12MP rear cameras and lists 3x optical zoom. The iQOO lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3x periscope camera. On the front, the listed resolutions are 12MP for Samsung and 32MP for iQOO.

These figures describe hardware, not the quality of photos or video. Megapixel counts alone do not show detail, color, low-light performance, stabilization, or consistency. A reliable camera winner would require comparable side-by-side results, which these specifications do not provide.
Which one is smaller and lighter?
The Galaxy S25 is the clear compact option: Samsung lists it at 146.9 × 70.5 × 7.2mm and 162g. The iQOO 15 Legend is listed at 220g, with dimensions around 163.65 × 76.80mm. The weight is specifically for the Legend variant, and listed weight can vary by configuration or color. If you prefer a large display and do not mind a heavier handset, the iQOO’s size may suit you; for a lighter phone that takes less room, the S25 has the advantage.

What do the software and support details tell you?
The S25 runs Android with Samsung One UI features, while the iQOO 15 is listed with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. The better fit depends on which interface and ecosystem you prefer; the operating-system names alone do not establish which experience you will like more.
Samsung India’s S25 specification page lists security updates as valid until January 31, 2032. The official iQOO pages cited here do not state a comparable support end date, so this evidence is not enough to declare an overall update-duration winner.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the iQOO 15 if you prioritize
- A large 6.85-inch, high-resolution 144Hz screen.
- A higher stated battery capacity and listed 100W wired charging.
- A 3x periscope camera in the rear-camera hardware.
- A large phone and are comfortable with the listed 220g Legend weight.
Choose the Galaxy S25 if you prioritize
- A compact, light handset: 162g and 146.9 × 70.5 × 7.2mm.
- Samsung One UI and its ecosystem.
- Samsung’s published India security-update validity date of January 31, 2032.
- The slightly lower displayed price in this October 7, 2026 snapshot.
Neither phone is a universal winner based on the available specifications. The iQOO makes the stronger case for screen size and listed battery and charging figures; the Galaxy S25 stands out for compactness and its published support date.
