The Galaxy A27 5G stands out for its 6.7-inch 120 Hz display and stated long software-support window. The Galaxy S25 FE offers faster listed charging, wireless charging and an IP68 rating. Samsung’s published specifications support a feature-by-feature comparison, but not a measured winner for speed, photos or battery life. Price is also market-specific: the official U.S. price list reviewed here gives S25 FE MSRPs, but no directly comparable A27 price.

Samsung also specifies a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 platform and the support commitment shown above. Those details do not establish how fast the phone feels in everyday use or how well it performs in demanding games; no side-by-side benchmark is available here.

Consider the S25 FE for charging options and IP68
The S25 FE has a smaller stated battery capacity than the A27, but higher maximum wired charging power and wireless charging support. Samsung lists IP68 protection and describes its lab test as freshwater immersion up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. That rating is a controlled test result, not a recommendation to expose the phone to water; real-world conditions and wear can differ.

Do not pick a camera winner from megapixels
The A27’s listed rear-camera configuration includes a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, plus ultrawide and macro cameras. Samsung identifies the S25 FE as having a triple rear camera, but the cited material does not provide a full, matched specification table. Megapixel counts and camera hardware alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos or video.
What is the price difference?
A universal price gap cannot be stated from the available official prices. Samsung Electronics America’s MSRP sheet, effective March 2026, lists the unlocked Galaxy S25 FE at $649.99 for 8/128 GB and $709.99 for 8/256 GB. Samsung notes that prices may change without notice. The cited material does not establish an official A27 MSRP on the same market and storage basis, so these figures cannot support a like-for-like comparison.

For a useful local comparison, check current listings in your country for the same storage capacity, unlocked or carrier-locked status, and warranty terms. Treat an MSRP as a reference price, not a guarantee of today’s retail price.
Availability and buying checks
Samsung announced that the A27 5G would launch in select markets from July 3, 2026. Availability is not global: Samsung’s Canadian newsroom notice says the products in its release are not available in Canada. Before ordering an imported or regional variant, verify the seller’s location, exact model, network compatibility, and who will honor the warranty.

What the specifications cannot tell you
The official sources establish listed features and Samsung’s stated support and test conditions. They do not provide an independent head-to-head test of performance, gaming, camera results or battery endurance. Battery capacity and charging wattage alone do not predict screen-on time or charging time in a particular setup. If those outcomes determine your choice, look for testing of the exact regional models and software versions you plan to buy.
