The OPPO Find X9 Ultra has the more ambitious camera and charging specifications, including a 50 MP 10x optical telephoto, a 7,050 mAh typical battery, and support for up to 100 W wired charging. Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Ultra counters with a built-in S Pen and DeX, plus a different telephoto setup: 3x and 5x optical cameras. Which is the better buy depends on your local price, preferred zoom range, and whether you value Samsung’s productivity features or OPPO’s listed hardware.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from a common performance test. OPPO’s 144 Hz figure applies only in some game scenarios; its listed adaptive refresh range is 1–120 Hz. Battery capacity and peak charging wattage do not establish which phone lasts longer or charges faster in everyday use. How the camera systems differ
Zoom range
The S24 Ultra’s listed optical telephoto cameras cover 3x and 5x. OPPO lists a 200 MP 3x telephoto and a 50 MP 10x optical ultra-telephoto, giving it a longer dedicated optical reach on paper. If you often photograph distant subjects, the 10x camera is a meaningful hardware distinction; if you mainly shoot at nearer telephoto ranges, both phones provide a dedicated 3x option.
Main, ultra-wide, and video specifications
Both phones list a 200 MP main camera. OPPO also lists a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 3.2 MP monochrome camera; Samsung lists a 12 MP ultra-wide. OPPO specifies rear video recording up to 8K at 30 fps and 4K at up to 120 fps, as well as 4K Dolby Vision recording. These figures describe supported modes, not comparative image quality. Megapixel counts, optical reach, and video modes alone cannot show which phone takes better photos or video.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
OPPO’s 21 April 2026 announcement names a separately identified Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit; it does not establish that the kit is included with every phone or sold in every market. The announcement also quotes OPPO SVP and Chief Product Officer Pete Lau describing the device as “the biggest breakthrough in OPPO imaging history.” That is a company executive’s promotional claim, not an independent camera assessment. OPPO’s announcement also lists IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications.
Battery, charging, and handling
OPPO lists a 7,050 mAh typical battery (6,890 mAh rated), compared with Samsung’s 5,000 mAh typical battery. Samsung says its typical-capacity figure is based on third-party laboratory testing; it is a capacity specification, not a head-to-head runtime result. OPPO lists support for up to 100 W SUPERVOOC wired and 50 W AIRVOOC wireless charging, while Samsung’s launch specification lists 45 W wired charging. Maximum supported wattage does not by itself determine charging time: the charger, cable, temperature, and charging conditions matter.
Rank #2
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
The listed weights put both phones in the substantial-phone category: the S24 Ultra is 232–233 g depending on network version, and the Find X9 Ultra is about 235–236 g depending on finish. OPPO’s listed footprint is about 163.16 × 76.97 mm; Samsung’s global launch dimensions are 162.3 × 79 × 8.6 mm. If one-handed use matters, consider handling the exact market version in person rather than judging by screen size alone.

Price difference: India listings and historical US MSRP

| Phone | Price shown on 91mobiles’ India comparison page |
|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra | ₹104,999 |
| OPPO Find X9 Ultra | ₹169,999 |
On that page, the Find X9 Ultra listing is ₹65,000 higher. The page does not establish that both prices apply to matching storage configurations, so check the exact variant and seller before treating the difference as a like-for-like quote. View the 91mobiles comparison.
For context only, Samsung US’s May 2024 MSRP list gave the 12 GB/256 GB S24 Ultra a US list price of $1,299.99 and the 12 GB/512 GB version a list price of $1,419.99. Those are historical US prices, not current retail quotes; they do not establish an OPPO US price or a current US price gap. Samsung’s May 2024 US MSRP list.

Which phone fits your priorities?
- Consider the Find X9 Ultra if its 10x optical telephoto, larger listed battery, higher stated charging limits, or OPPO’s specified video modes match how you use a phone—and if local availability, warranty, and price work for you.
- Consider the Galaxy S24 Ultra if you want its built-in S Pen and DeX, prefer Samsung’s 3x/5x telephoto arrangement, or find it at a better price in your market.
- Compare the exact regional variants before buying. Check storage, network-band support, warranty coverage, included accessories, current local price, and whether the charger and wireless-charging accessories you own support the phone’s charging system.
The listed specifications do not settle which phone has the better camera or longer real-world battery life. That requires comparable independent tests; choose based on the hardware and features you will actually use, then verify the local deal.
