The vivo V60 stands out on paper for battery capacity, 90W charging, a 50MP autofocus selfie camera and IP68/IP69 certification. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE offers a specified 3x optical telephoto camera and Samsung’s stated commitment to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Neither set of specifications proves which phone takes better photos, lasts longer in everyday use or runs faster; those require comparable testing.

These are manufacturer specifications and policy statements, not results from a direct test of the two phones. The Samsung launch announcement described the chipset as part of the Exynos 2400 series; its India product page identifies the S24 FE processor as Exynos 2400e.
Which phone has the better camera setup?
The two camera systems emphasize different hardware. The S24 FE has a 3x optical telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide. The V60 lists 50MP main and telephoto cameras, an 8MP ultrawide and a 50MP autofocus selfie camera; vivo also states that both its front and rear cameras record 4K.
Those specifications can help you narrow down what to investigate, but they do not establish image quality. Megapixel counts alone do not show how photos compare in detail, color, low light, motion or video stabilization. Choose based on the camera types and features you expect to use, and look for comparable sample photos or tests if image quality is decisive.

Does the V60’s larger battery mean it lasts longer?
vivo lists a 6,500mAh typical battery for the V60, compared with Samsung’s 4,700mAh typical figure for the S24 FE. The manufacturers also state different rated capacities: 6,330mAh for the V60 and a 4,565mAh rated minimum for the S24 FE. These figures are not interchangeable with a measured battery-life result; actual runtime depends on usage and conditions.
The V60’s stated 90W FlashCharge is a clear charging-specification difference. The cited Samsung sources do not give a comparable charging rate, so they do not support a direct charging-speed comparison.

What do the support and durability details establish?
Software updates
Samsung’s 30 September 2024 India launch announcement says the S24 FE has “seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.” That is Samsung’s stated commitment for the phone. The official vivo pages reviewed do not establish a comparable V60 support duration; that gap is not evidence that the V60 receives no updates.
Water and dust resistance
vivo lists IP68 and IP69 certification for the V60, with conditions and caveats in its product information. vivo warns that resistance can decrease over time and that liquid damage is not covered by warranty. Treat the ratings as a statement about certification under specified conditions, not a guarantee against damage in every situation.

- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
The cited Samsung launch passage does not establish an IP rating for the S24 FE, so it is not enough to make a sourced water-resistance comparison between the phones.

The available figures do not establish a reliable current, like-for-like price difference. Samsung India’s 30 September 2024 launch announcement listed the S24 FE at MOP ₹59,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹65,999 for 8GB/256GB. These are historical launch prices, not current offers.
Rank #4
The vivo India online shop listing observed for this comparison showed ₹41,999 for the V60 8GB/128GB, while a separate official shop result showed ₹43,999 for the 8GB/256GB version. The selected product was shown as unavailable in the listing state represented by that shop result. The observation date was not specified, and listings, availability and prices can change.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the vivo V60 if its larger stated battery, 90W charging, 50MP autofocus selfie camera or IP68/IP69 certification matches your priorities. The specifications alone do not predict your battery runtime or prove camera quality.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE if the specified 3x optical telephoto camera or Samsung’s stated seven-generation OS-upgrade and seven-year security-update commitment is especially important to you.
- Compare current checkout prices only after matching storage capacity and retailer; the figures above do not establish a current price winner.
