The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE costs ₹12,000 more than the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro in the India prices shown by 91mobiles. That listing puts the phones at ₹39,999 and ₹27,999, respectively, but prices can change and may depend on configuration or seller. The choice is less straightforward than the price gap: Samsung offers an IP68 rating and a stated seven-year support commitment in India, while Nothing lists a 3x optical periscope camera, a larger battery and 50W wired charging.
Price difference: what the India listing shows
91mobiles’ India comparison listing gives the Galaxy S24 FE a price of ₹39,999 and the Phone (3a) Pro a price of ₹27,999—a difference of ₹12,000. These are listing figures, not guaranteed live prices. The comparison does not establish that the prices apply to identical RAM and storage configurations, sellers, or offers. Check the current price for the exact variant in your market before buying; no country-independent price comparison is established here. 91mobiles’ comparison listing gives September 27, 2024 and March 11, 2025 as the phones’ respective launch dates.

Choose the Galaxy S24 FE for Samsung’s stated support and IP68 rating
Samsung’s India product page states up to seven generations of Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. That is specific wording for the India page; it should not automatically be treated as the policy in every sales region. The S24 FE also carries an IP68 rating, compared with the Nothing phone’s IP64. These are dust- and water-resistance ratings, not guarantees that a phone will avoid damage.

Choose the Phone (3a) Pro if optical zoom and charging specifications matter more
Nothing lists a 50 MP periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, a hardware distinction for someone who wants a dedicated telephoto lens. It also lists a 5,000 mAh battery and 50W fast charging. The larger capacity does not, by itself, prove longer battery life, and a megapixel count does not establish image quality.
Compare processors by tests, not names alone
The S24 FE uses Samsung’s listed Exynos 2400e; Nothing specifies the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Those chipset names identify the hardware but do not prove which phone is faster in everyday use. A fair performance verdict would require comparable benchmarks or controlled testing; the specifications cited here do not provide that basis.

- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
How to read the camera, battery, display and durability differences
Camera hardware is not a photo-quality verdict
Samsung lists a 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra-wide, 8 MP telephoto and 10 MP front camera. Nothing lists a 50 MP OIS main, 50 MP periscope with 3x optical zoom, 8 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP front camera. The Nothing phone’s periscope is the clearer hardware advantage for optical zoom, but these specifications alone cannot determine which phone produces better photos overall. No hands-on image comparison is established by the available product-page specifications. A secondary specifications comparison is available from GSMArena.

Battery capacity and charging speed are different measures
Nothing’s listed 5,000 mAh capacity is greater than Samsung’s 4,700 mAh figure, and Nothing specifies 50W fast charging. Capacity and charging rate are not equivalent battery-life results. Samsung’s India product page should be consulted for its exact charging and wireless-charging details; the figures cited here do not support a complete charging comparison.
Rank #3
- The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
Display size and refresh rate
Samsung lists a 6.7-inch display. Nothing lists a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display with adaptive refresh up to 120 Hz. These specifications describe size and refresh capability, not measured brightness, color performance or viewing quality; no hands-on display comparison is established here.
IP ratings are not damage guarantees
Samsung lists IP68 and Nothing lists IP64. The ratings differ, but neither should be read as a promise that a handset cannot be damaged by dust or water. Actual protection depends on conditions and the phone’s state.

Samsung’s India product page promises up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. Nothing’s international Phone (3a) series page describes updates for six years from first availability, but the regional Nothing India page cited here does not provide the same OS-versus-security breakdown. Because the wording and regional scope differ, these statements are not a clean apples-to-apples comparison or a basis for calculating exact end dates. Check the current local policy for the specific handset and sales region before treating support duration as decisive.
