In India price listings checked in October 2026, the Samsung Galaxy M36 was ₹21,999 and the Moto G57 Power was ₹20,999—a ₹1,000 gap. Choose the M36 for its listed Super AMOLED screen and longer reported software support; choose the Moto for its larger battery, 8 GB RAM specification, and slightly larger display. Neither is the better choice for every buyer.
Price difference: the Moto is listed ₹1,000 lower
91mobiles listed the Galaxy M36 at ₹21,999 and the Moto G57 Power at ₹20,999 on its comparison page accessed October 7, 2026. Smartprix showed the same prices and says its price details were last updated September 25, 2026. These are dated India price observations, not guaranteed checkout prices; the seller, offers, and phone configuration can change what you pay. Check the live listing and confirm the RAM and storage variant before buying.
Display and size: AMOLED versus a larger LCD
91mobiles lists the Galaxy M36 with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display at 1080 × 2340 resolution and 120 Hz. Its comparison lists the Moto G57 Power with a 6.72-inch LCD at 1080 × 2400 and 120 Hz; Motorola’s India support specifications confirm the Moto’s 6.72-inch FHD+ 120 Hz LCD. Both are listed at the same refresh rate. AMOLED and LCD differ in display technology, but these specifications alone do not establish which phone looks better in use.

The listed dimensions favor the Samsung if you want a thinner, lighter handset: 91mobiles gives the M36 as 197 g and 7.7 mm thick, while Motorola specifies the Moto at 210.6 g and 8.6 mm. The Moto’s screen is 0.02 inches larger on the listed figures.

Battery and charging: Moto has more capacity
Motorola specifies a 7,000 mAh battery and 33 W TurboPower charging for the Moto G57 Power. 91mobiles lists the Galaxy M36 at 5,000 mAh and 25 W. The Moto therefore has the larger stated battery capacity, but capacity by itself does not guarantee a particular runtime: usage, network conditions, and other factors matter.
There is a charging-rate discrepancy in the published specifications: 91mobiles lists 30 W for the Moto, whereas Motorola’s official India support page lists 33 W TurboPower. The official Motorola figure is the stronger source for the manufacturer’s stated specification.

Performance and memory: check the M36 configuration
91mobiles identifies the Galaxy M36’s chip as Exynos 1380 and shows 6 GB RAM in the compared configuration. Its page also lists M36 variants with 6 GB or 8 GB RAM, so the 6 GB figure is not the only available configuration reported there. Motorola specifies a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and 8 GB RAM for the Moto G57 Power.

Cameras: compare the listed hardware, not just megapixels
91mobiles lists a 50 MP main rear camera and an 8 MP ultrawide on each phone. It also lists a 2 MP macro camera on the M36. Motorola identifies the Moto’s 50 MP main camera as a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor and confirms its 8 MP ultrawide camera. The comparison lists a 13 MP front camera for Samsung and 8 MP for Moto.
Resolution and camera count do not establish photo or video quality. The figures here are specifications, not a controlled image-quality comparison.

Software support: M36 has the longer reported promise
91mobiles reports six years of OS updates for the Galaxy M36 and one year for the Moto G57 Power. Those are comparison-page claims, not an independent confirmation of each manufacturer’s current support policy, and they do not mean every promised update has already been delivered. Check the current Samsung and Motorola support information for the exact model before making software longevity a deciding factor.

Motorola lists IP64 protection, MIL-STD 810H, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for the Moto G57 Power. The available comparison information does not establish equivalent Samsung specifications, so those Moto features should not be read as proof that the M36 lacks or matches them.
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy M36 if Super AMOLED is your priority, you prefer the lighter and thinner listed design, or the six-year OS-update claim reported by 91mobiles matters most. Its listed price is ₹1,000 higher in the dated observations above.
- Choose the Moto G57 Power if you value its stated 7,000 mAh battery, 8 GB RAM configuration, slightly larger screen, or listed audio and protection features. Motorola’s official specification gives it 33 W TurboPower charging.
For either phone, make the final comparison using the exact variant and current seller price: the M36 appears in more than one RAM configuration, and the quoted prices are snapshots rather than guaranteed offers.
