The reviewed official material did not establish an equivalent realme P3 commitment, so buyers who place a high value on a documented long-term policy have a clearer basis for choosing Samsung.

realme lists a 6,000 mAh battery and promotes a 120 Hz AMOLED display. Those are useful on-paper differences for shoppers who prioritize a larger rated battery or a high-refresh-rate panel. Capacity by itself does not prove longer everyday runtime, and the cited information does not provide matched tests of battery endurance or display readability.

Do not pick on chipset names or camera megapixels alone
The A36 uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and the P3 uses Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, but the model names do not establish a measured speed or gaming winner. Likewise, Samsung’s cited 50 MP figure is for the main rear camera while realme’s cited 16 MP figure is for the front camera. Neither comparison establishes which phone takes better photos. A reliable verdict on performance, gaming, or image quality would require independent tests of the exact India variants.
What is the price difference in India?
A dependable like-for-like current price difference is not established. A Samsung India purchase-page result indexed in 2026 showed an A36 offer from ₹36,999, but that is a volatile offer and does not confirm a matching live price for a P3 variant. Do not treat ₹36,999 as a stable list price or subtract it from an unverified P3 price.
For a fair comparison, check both phones on the same date and match RAM and storage, seller, and offer terms. A bank discount, exchange value, or limited-time promotion can change the payable amount without changing the underlying price comparison. Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
What the specifications say
Samsung lists the A36 with a 5,000 mAh typical battery and 45 W Super Fast Charge. Samsung also states up to 29 hours of video playback on its India product page; this is the manufacturer’s stated figure, not a matched independent comparison with the P3. realme lists the P3 with a 6,000 mAh battery and claims up to 8.5 hours of BGMI gameplay on a single charge. That gaming duration is realme’s promotional claim, not an independent test.
What the numbers cannot tell you
The P3’s higher stated capacity does not, on its own, prove it lasts longer. Screen settings, network conditions, software, workload, and other factors affect endurance. Nor does the A36’s 45 W charging specification establish that it charges faster overall than the P3; a comparable charging test and the relevant charging conditions are not provided here. Compare independent tests of the exact variants if runtime or recharge time is decisive.
Display: different published strengths
Samsung describes the A36’s screen as a 17.01 cm FHD+ Super AMOLED display. realme promotes the P3’s 120 Hz AMOLED display. The available details therefore establish panel branding and, for the P3, a refresh-rate figure, but they do not give a complete, matched comparison of brightness, resolution, or outdoor readability. A 120 Hz specification describes refresh rate; it does not by itself prove that one screen looks better in all conditions.
