The Galaxy A26 5G is the better-documented choice: Samsung publishes its regional specifications and support terms. The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is reported to offer a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and a larger battery, but the specifications and prices available for it come from comparison databases, not a Samsung product page. There is not enough consistent pricing evidence to establish which phone costs less today.

At a glance: verified details versus reported details

Feature Galaxy A26 5G Galaxy F70 Pro 5G
Evidence basis Samsung Philippines product page; details apply to that regional page and listed configuration. Third-party comparison databases; no official Samsung F70 Pro product source was located in the sources cited here.
Display 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED, up to 120 Hz (Samsung Philippines). 6.7-inch display; Gadgets360 reports FHD+ and 120 Hz.
Processor Not stated on the cited Samsung Philippines product page. Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, as reported by Gadgets360.
Memory and storage The cited Philippines page is for a 128GB model; RAM details are not stated in the cited specifications. 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage, as reported by Gadgets360.
Rear cameras 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP (Samsung Philippines). 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP, as reported by Gadgets360.
Front camera 13 MP (Samsung Philippines). 12 MP, as reported by Gadgets360.
Battery 5,000 mAh (Samsung Philippines). 6,000 mAh, as reported by Gadgets360 and Smartprix.
Charging Not stated in the cited Samsung Philippines product details. 45W, as reported by Gadgets360.
Water and dust resistance IP67 (Samsung Philippines). Not stated by the cited comparison sources; that omission does not establish that the phone lacks a rating.
Software and support Samsung lists six OS updates and six years of security updates for the Philippines page; its security update period is valid until March 31, 2031. Android 16 and One UI 8.5 are reported by Gadgets360. Smartprix reports six years of OS and security updates. These claims are not confirmed by a cited Samsung product page.
Weight 200 g (Samsung Philippines). Not stated in the cited comparison sources.

For the A26, Samsung’s published specifications are the stronger evidence. For the F70 Pro, treat database entries as reported claims and confirm them against a region-specific Samsung page or the seller’s documentation before relying on them. Which phone should you buy?

Choose the Galaxy A26 5G if documented protection and support matter most

The A26 has a clear advantage in verifiable ownership details: Samsung Philippines lists IP67 resistance and six OS updates plus six years of security updates, with the security period valid until March 31, 2031. Samsung also specifies its display, cameras, battery and 200 g weight for that regional product page. Check that the phone sold in your country has the same configuration and terms.

Consider the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if its reported hardware fits your priorities

The F70 Pro database listings point to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 platform, a 6,000 mAh battery and, according to Gadgets360, 45W charging. Those could be attractive on paper if you value battery capacity or charging speed, but they remain third-party specifications in the cited evidence. Verify the exact model, features and warranty with Samsung or the seller before paying.

Use local, like-for-like pricing to decide value

Smartprix displayed observed prices of ₹27,990 for the A26 and ₹26,282 for the F70 Pro on a page it says was updated October 3, 2026. These are time-sensitive secondary listings, not a reliable current-price comparison. Separately, Samsung’s US MSRP list effective March 2026 gives $299.99 for an unlocked 128GB A26 in Black and marks that SKU EOL; this is a dated US list-price reference, not a current street price or a statement about availability worldwide. The currencies, markets, dates and price types differ, so they do not establish a current price gap. Compare the same country, RAM and storage configuration, seller conditions and warranty instead. What to verify before ordering

  • Exact variant: Match the model number, RAM and storage to the listing. Smartprix identifies the F70 Pro as SM-M476B/DS and SM-M476B, while Gadgets360 lists multiple memory and storage configurations.
  • Regional compatibility: Confirm local network-band compatibility and whether the phone is intended for your country.
  • Warranty and returns: Check who provides warranty service, the return window and whether the seller is authorized in your market.
  • Unconfirmed features: The databases disagree on F70 Pro NFC: Gadgets360 lists it, while Smartprix shows none. Smartprix leaves in-box details blank. Neither omission nor conflict should be resolved by assuming a feature is present or absent.
  • Support terms: Ask for the local Samsung software-support commitment for the exact F70 Pro variant; a database claim is not a substitute for manufacturer terms.

Samsung describes the Philippines A26 as a 7.7 mm phone with a glass back, offered in Black, White, Mint and Peach Pink. Those design details also apply to the regional product page, not necessarily every market configuration.
