There is not enough verified information to name a winner between the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G and the Nothing Phone (4b). Samsung lists the A17 5G on official store pages, but the available sources do not establish that Nothing has an official Phone (4b) product or confirm its reported specifications. A third-party comparison lists both at €329 in Spain, but that price parity is not independently verified.
Is the Nothing Phone (4b) a confirmed model?
The key limitation is model verification: the available sources do not include an official Nothing product page for a Phone (4b). The processor, display, battery, cameras, memory and price attributed to it below come from MobileData, a secondary source, rather than an official Nothing specification or store listing. Treat them as unverified claims, not confirmed product facts.
By contrast, Samsung has official Galaxy A17 5G store listings for the US and India. That confirms the Samsung model is listed in those markets, though price and configuration depend on the specific regional listing.

MobileData’s comparison reports the following specifications. The Nothing Phone (4b) column is not independently verified by an official Nothing source; Samsung’s A17 details are reported by MobileData and should not be confused with the configurations on Samsung’s regional store pages.

| Specification | Nothing Phone (4b), as reported by MobileData | Samsung Galaxy A17 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 | Exynos 1330 |
| Display | 6.77-inch Super AMOLED; 1080 × 2344; 120 Hz | 6.7-inch Super AMOLED; 1080 × 2340; 90 Hz |
| Battery | 5,200 mAh | 5,000 mAh |
| Main camera | 50 MP with optical stabilization | 50 MP with optical stabilization |
| Front camera | 16 MP | Not stated in MobileData’s reported comparison |
| Memory and storage | 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage | Varies by market; Samsung India lists a 128 GB/6 GB model |
| Memory card support | MobileData reports no support | Not stated in the cited comparison details |
These reported figures suggest a 120 Hz display and a slightly larger stated battery for the Nothing model, while the A17’s reported display is 90 Hz. Those differences do not establish which phone is the better purchase: they depend on claims about a model that is not officially verified here, and the table does not establish factors such as real-world performance or battery life.
What is the price difference?
There is no reliable, like-for-like price difference established by the available sources. MobileData lists both phones at €329 in Spain, with prices checked September 1, 2026. Because its Phone (4b) listing is not confirmed by an official Nothing source, this is a secondary-source claim of price parity—not a verified current offer or proof that the phones can be bought for the same amount.

Samsung’s official US store page lists the Galaxy A17 5G 128 GB unlocked at $249.99. This is an observed store listing price, not a guaranteed checkout price or a stable MSRP. Samsung India lists a 128 GB/6 GB A17 5G model at ₹26,999. These are different markets and configuration contexts; neither should be directly compared with the Spain prices or with each other as though they were the same offer.
Before comparing prices, match the country, RAM and storage configuration, seller, and date. Promotions and availability can change, so check the relevant store listing at purchase time.

What comes in the Galaxy A17 5G box?
Samsung’s US store listing says the package contains a smartphone, data cable and ejection pin, and states: “Galaxy A17 5G does not include a charger.” If you need a wall charger, account for that separately and confirm compatibility before buying one.

A firm recommendation is not justified until the Phone (4b)’s identity, specifications and regional availability can be verified through an authoritative Nothing source. If you are choosing now, the Galaxy A17 5G is the only one of these two with an official store listing established in the sources cited here; that does not by itself make it the better-value phone.

- Choose based on the A17’s exact local price and configuration shown by Samsung or a trusted seller, rather than assuming the US, India and Spain listings describe equivalent offers.
- For any Phone (4b) offer, seek an official manufacturer listing that confirms the model name, regional variant, memory configuration, price and warranty before paying.
- Compare the same storage and RAM tier, then check the seller’s return terms and included accessories.
