If you already have a Fubo account, the sign-in method depends on the screen you are using. On a computer, go to fubo.tv, select Sign In, and enter your account email and password. On a phone or tablet, open the Fubo app, tap Sign In, and enter the same credentials. On a smart TV or connected device, the usual route is Sign In With A Code: you enter a code shown on the TV at fubo.tv/connect from a second device. Many TV apps also offer Sign In With Email, which lets you type your email and password with the remote.
This guide covers signing in to an existing account only. If you do not yet have a Fubo account, you will need to create one before any of the steps below will work.
| Device | Where you sign in | What you need | Second device required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Web browser | fubo.tv, then Sign In | Account email and password | No |
| Phone or tablet | Fubo app, then Sign In | Account email and password | No |
| Smart TV or connected device (code method) | Fubo app on the TV, then Sign In With A Code | A phone, tablet, or computer with a browser, plus your account email and password | Yes |
| Smart TV or connected device (email method) | Fubo app on the TV, then Sign In With Email | Account email and password typed with the remote | No |
Sign in on a web browser
Fubo states that watching in a browser requires no download, so sign-in happens entirely on the fubo.tv website.

- Open a browser and go to fubo.tv.
- Select Sign In in the top-right corner.

Sign in on a smart TV or connected device
TV sign-in differs from the other two methods because the television cannot easily accept typed text from a remote, so Fubo uses a code. The code route needs a second device that can open a web page.
Recommended Free Tools
Method 1: Sign In With A Code
- On the TV, open the Fubo app and select Sign In.
- Choose Sign In With A Code. The TV displays a code.
- On a separate phone, tablet, or computer, visit fubo.tv/connect.
- Sign in with your account email and password, enter the code shown on the television, and submit.
- The browser should show a success message. The TV app then signs in.
Fubo’s activation-code help article gives the time limit in its own words: “Activation codes are valid for five minutes; if you receive an error after entering your code, check your TV for another code then refresh the activation page and try again.” Source: Fubo Help Center, “How do I sign in on my TV using a code?” (updated January 26, 2026).

- Getting set up is easy – Plug in and connect to Wi-Fi for smooth streaming.
Because the code expires quickly, it helps to have your phone or laptop ready before you select Sign In With A Code on the TV, rather than opening the connect page afterward.
Method 2: Sign In With Email
If code sign-in keeps failing, choose Sign In With Email on the TV and type your account email and password with the remote. Fubo’s code help article names this as the fallback, and it avoids the second device entirely. Typing long passwords with a remote is slow, so use a phone or laptop for the code method when you can.

On Apple TV, the sign-in screen may also show With Apple Device. Fubo’s smart-TV interface article describes it this way: “Apple TV only: Select With Apple Device to log in using another nearby Apple device.” Fubo states that the same Apple ID must be signed in on both devices for this option to work. - The code has expired or shows an error: Look at the TV for a newly generated code, refresh the fubo.tv/connect page, and enter the new code. Codes are valid for five minutes.
- The code is rejected: Confirm that you typed the code currently on the TV screen, not an older one, and that the browser is on the connect page. If it still fails, switch to Sign In With Email on the TV.
- You have forgotten your password: Use the password-reset option on Fubo’s sign-in page in the browser, or Forgot Password? in the mobile app.
- Browser sign-in fails: Reset your password, then check that cookies and pop-ups are allowed for fubo.tv.
- The TV app shows no code or email option: Sign-in choices depend on the device. Fubo’s interface article says available options vary by device, so check your TV’s app for the choices it offers. If the app itself is not working, consult Fubo’s compatibility information for your exact model and software version.
Supported devices
Fubo’s Help Center lists the following under connected devices: Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, and Xbox. Under smart TVs it lists Hisense VIDAA, LG TV, Samsung Smart TV, and Vizio TV. These are examples from Fubo’s help index. Fubo directs users to a separate compatibility article for the full list and requirements, and that list can change, so confirm your model and software version there before troubleshooting further.
