As a general principle, valuing professionalism and conduct is understandable. But “drama” is subjective unless it is tied to clearly evidenced behaviour and relevant to a player’s ability to contribute. A headline phrase should not be mistaken for a measurable rule or a verified club position.

Those considerations allow a club to take behaviour seriously without letting the word “drama” substitute for evidence. The available sources do not provide misconduct statistics, recruiting-success rates, or evidence that grand-final losses cause any particular next-season outcome, so none can justify a sweeping claim about Fremantle’s future.
