Freedom Mobile’s iPhone 16e buy-one-get-one offer was a limited-time promotion reported in February and March 2025, not a deal confirmed as available now. The later reported version paired two iPhone 16e 128GB phones with qualifying $59-per-month plans and offered $600 in credits toward the second phone over 24 months. That version was reported to end March 31, 2025.
What Freedom’s reported iPhone 16e BOGO offer included
The promotion’s terms changed across contemporary reports, so the February and March figures should not be treated as one unchanged offer. Both accounts described an in-store purchase involving two iPhone 16e phones and two service lines.

February 21, 2025 report
MobileSyrup reported two iPhone 16e phones with two $59-per-month plans and a combined monthly spend of $145 for both phones and plans. Its account described an in-store offer with a two-year obligation and an end-of-term choice to return the phone or pay a $299 buyout.
March 21, 2025 report
iPhone in Canada later described the offer as buying an iPhone 16e 128GB and receiving a second for $0 per month through TradeUp and MyTab financing, provided both devices were activated together. It reported $600 in credits toward the second phone, applied as $25 per month for 24 months. Each device required a qualifying $59-per-month plan after Digital Discount. The offer was reported as available in store while supplies lasted, with a March 31, 2025 end date.

How much the deal cost
The word “free” referred to credits against the second phone’s monthly device cost; it did not mean a second phone with no conditions or a two-line bundle with no ongoing expense. The February account put the combined monthly cost at $145 for both phones and plans, for the version described on February 21. The later March account specified the $600 credit structure and $59 monthly plan requirement per device, but did not establish a new combined monthly total.
Before evaluating a similar carrier offer, check the full cost over the commitment period, not only the advertised second-phone payment. Include:

- Both monthly plan charges and both device payments.
- Any upfront, activation or connection charges shown in the offer terms.
- How long device credits apply and what happens if a line is canceled or changed before they finish.
- Whether the device must be returned at the end of the term, its required condition, and any buyout amount if you keep it.
Do you have to return the phone?
The February report described a return-or-$299-buyout choice at the end of its reported two-year term. The March report characterized the second phone’s financing as TradeUp and MyTab and described its $600 in credits over 24 months. Freedom’s TradeUp support information explains the general arrangement: a lower monthly device cost in exchange for returning an eligible phone at the end of the 24-month term. The exact end-of-term obligation depends on the applicable offer and financing terms; check the agreement for the specific device rather than assuming every version has the same return or buyout amount.

Is the iPhone 16e BOGO deal still available?
The later reported promotion had a March 31, 2025 deadline and was described as available in store while supplies lasted. The available reports do not establish that Freedom currently offers the same BOGO deal or a directly comparable promotion. Freedom’s current device catalogue listing the iPhone 16e does not, by itself, confirm BOGO eligibility, current pricing or the historical credits. Confirm any live offer and its complete terms with Freedom before making a purchase.

iPhone 16e product context
Apple introduced the iPhone 16e in February 2025 as part of the iPhone 16 family. Apple’s launch information lists a 6.1-inch display, an A18 chip and a 48MP Fusion camera. Freedom’s archived product promotion page listed up to 26 hours of video playback. These are manufacturer or carrier product claims, not independent test results.

If comparing a carrier bundle with buying two phones separately, use the same time period and account for the whole arrangement:

- Calculate both lines’ plan charges plus both device payments across the full term.
- Include any upfront or connection charges stated in the current offer.
- Verify the credit amount, duration and conditions for keeping it.
- Read the end-of-term return, device-condition and buyout requirements.
- Confirm the offer’s current availability and any in-store or activation restrictions.
The historical reports do not provide a current Freedom price or a current equivalent promotion, so they cannot support a present-day savings comparison.
