The FOSSiBOT F107 Pro debuted on Kickstarter in May 2025 with a 28,000mAh battery and a color Starlight night-vision camera. Its crowdfunding campaign has ended, and the phone’s size is as striking as its battery: New Atlas reported a weight of 910g and a thickness of nearly 40mm. The specifications and endurance figures below are manufacturer claims or launch-era reporting, not independent test results.
What is the FOSSiBOT F107 Pro?
The F107 Pro is a rugged Android smartphone aimed at people who value long battery life and low-light imaging over everyday portability. FOSSiBOT presented it as its first smartphone Kickstarter campaign. The campaign ran from May 21 to June 20, 2025; Kickstarter now reports 78 backers and HK$279,194 raised against a HK$23,488 goal. Those totals document campaign activity, not that backers received their phones. Kickstarter’s campaign page also shows an update dated April 28, 2026.
At launch, New Atlas described a 6.95-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Android 15, 5G, and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor. FOSSiBOT’s current US product page calls the chipset Dimensity 7300, so the sources differ on the exact name. The manufacturer lists 512GB storage and “30GB RAM,” specified as 12GB of physical RAM plus up to 18GB of memory expansion; that expanded portion is not additional physical RAM. The camera array is listed as a 200MP main camera, a 50MP wide-angle/macro camera, a 2MP Starlight sensor, and a 32MP front camera. New Atlas’ launch coverage and FOSSiBOT’s US product page provide those specifications.

FOSSiBOT describes the F107 Pro’s 2MP Starlight system as a high-sensitivity camera that uses available ambient light to capture color images in very low-light conditions. That is different from conventional infrared night vision, which typically illuminates a scene with infrared light and produces monochrome imagery, and from thermal imaging, which detects heat rather than visible scene detail. The manufacturer’s description does not establish how well the F107 Pro performs in particular conditions, and the sources cited here do not include an independent controlled camera test.

The distinction matters when choosing a low-light camera: color Starlight imaging depends on usable ambient light, while thermal devices show heat patterns and infrared systems rely on infrared illumination. The F107 Pro’s quoted 2MP sensor resolution alone does not establish image quality.
What does the 28,000mAh battery mean in practice?
A 28,000mAh capacity is exceptionally large for a phone, but the published runtimes are FOSSiBOT estimates from its 2025 Kickstarter FAQ, not independently measured results. The FAQ excerpt does not establish the usage conditions behind each estimate.

FOSSiBOT lists 66W wired charging and 10W reverse charging on its current US product page. Its campaign FAQ estimated about 4.5 hours for a full charge with the included 66W charger. That timing is also a company estimate, rather than a test result. The campaign FAQ says the battery is sealed and not user-replaceable.

New Atlas reported dimensions of 190.1 × 90.6 × 39.95mm and a weight of 910g. That makes the F107 Pro far thicker and heavier than an ordinary smartphone; its battery capacity comes with a substantial carrying and handling tradeoff.

FOSSiBOT claims MIL-STD-810H, IP68, and IP69K protection. New Atlas reported specifications including immersion up to 1.5m for around 30 minutes and an operating temperature range of -15°C to 55°C. These are reported ratings and specifications, not proof of independent testing of this particular device. Buyers should check the manufacturer’s conditions and exclusions before relying on a ruggedness claim for work or outdoor use.
What Android updates did FOSSiBOT promise?
The campaign FAQ said Android 15 updates and security patches were guaranteed, but upgrades beyond Android 15 were not officially promised. In the FAQ’s words, “Like most Android devices, upgrades beyond Android 15 (such as Android 16) aren’t officially promised.” The reviewed material does not establish a longer-term update schedule beyond that campaign statement.

Is the F107 Pro available now?
The Kickstarter campaign is over, and its planned July 2025 shipping date was an estimate published during the campaign; it does not confirm that units shipped or arrived. As checked October 5, 2026, FOSSiBOT’s US product page displayed $589 alongside a “Notify Me When Available” control. That is a displayed price, not confirmation of a live offer or in-stock supply. The reviewed sources do not confirm campaign fulfillment, current warranty experience, or repair availability.
The manufacturer page lists compatibility with several US carriers, but compatibility depends on the exact carrier, supported bands, and local service. Verify those details directly with the carrier and seller before purchase, along with stock, final price, warranty terms, and who will provide support.

- Before paying: confirm that the device is actually available, verify carrier compatibility and warranty coverage, and treat the runtime and durability statements as manufacturer claims unless independently tested.
