The oddball souvenir in Forza Horizon 6 is the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, part of the game’s 7-Eleven collaboration. Xbox says players can smash 20 of them near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet during Autumn to earn Festival Playlist completion points and a Forza LINK reward. The activity is seasonal; the announcement does not say the sandwiches are permanent.
What is the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible?
It is an in-game collectible introduced in the 7-Eleven collaboration announced by Xbox and 7-Eleven, Inc. on October 8, 2026. Xbox describes the task as: “Smash 20 Egg Salad Sandwich Collectibles (find them near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet) during Autumn.” Completing it awards Festival Playlist completion points and a new Forza LINK reward. Xbox Wire’s announcement does not explain why the sandwich was chosen.
Where and when can you find them?
Look near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet during the Autumn seasonal period. Xbox’s announcement gives the location and season, but does not specify a more exact map route or dates for the activity. It is one of the collaboration’s limited-time features, so check the in-game Festival Playlist for the active seasonal task and its availability.
Is the sandwich souvenir permanent?
No permanent availability is established. Xbox calls the 7-Eleven storefront limited-time and describes the sandwich task as available during Autumn. The word “permanent” applies to a different feature: in a January 22, 2026 interview, Design Director Torben Ellert said, “There are three locations in-game where permanent Car Meets take place.” That statement concerns Car Meets, not the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectibles. Ellert’s interview does not establish that the sandwich hunt stays in the game.

The collaboration adds a Japan-inspired 7-Eleven storefront and themed Car Meet in the Nangan region. The 7-Eleven Konbini Prop Pack provides decorating items for the Estate, Garages, and custom EventLab tracks, and the announcement also includes a Japan-inspired clerk uniform. Xbox presents these as collaboration content separate from the seasonal sandwich task.
The announcement also describes two real-world elements, each with its own limits:

How this fits Forza Horizon 6’s collectibles
The sandwich task is a time-limited collaboration activity, not evidence that every collectible or discovery in Forza Horizon 6 expires. Xbox describes mascot collectibles as scattered around each area and granting a small reward. Playground Games also describes Stamps and the Collection Journal as ways to represent discoveries across Japan. These broader discovery systems are distinct from the Autumn sandwich challenge. Xbox’s Forza Horizon 6 page and Playground Games’ Collection Journal overview provide context for those systems.
