Forza Horizon 6 is scheduled to launch on PS5 on January 26, 2027. The Premium Edition is listed with access beginning January 21, and pre-ordering any PS5 edition is advertised with a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 for your in-game garage. The US PlayStation Store lists Standard, Deluxe and Premium editions at $69.99, $99.99 and $119.99, respectively; prices and listings may change.
When does Forza Horizon 6 come out on PS5?
Playground Games announced that the Standard and Deluxe editions launch on January 26, 2027. Premium Edition access is scheduled to begin January 21, 2027. The publisher calls that five days early, while the US PlayStation Store describes Premium as “Play 4 days early starting January 21.” The dates agree, but the day-count wording does not, so use January 21 as the stated access date rather than treating either label as a precise unlock schedule. Neither source establishes an exact unlock time or a global schedule. Playground Games’ PS5 announcement and the US PlayStation Store Premium listing provide the dates and wording.
Which PS5 edition should you pre-order?
The US PlayStation Store lists three digital PS5 editions. The prices below are US prices as accessed October 9, 2026, and may change. Choose based on the listed add-ons and whether January 21 access matters; available evidence does not establish whether Premium costs less than buying its add-ons separately.

What do you get for pre-ordering?
Pre-ordering any PS5 edition is advertised with a pre-tuned Ferrari J50. Playground Games says it will be added to your in-game garage after you start playing and complete the prologue. It is a digital in-game bonus, not a physical collectible. See the publisher’s announcement for the bonus and redemption condition.
Can you buy Forza Horizon 6 on a PS5 disc?
Yes. Playground Games says a PS5 disc edition will be sold at supporting retailers, while digital editions are listed on the PlayStation Store. The publisher has not named retailers or guaranteed stock, so check a retailer’s current inventory and confirm which edition its disc listing represents. The publisher announcement confirms disc availability; the US Store listing covers digital editions.
What PS5 online and cross-platform features are announced?
Playground Games says PS5 supports cross-play and cross-save with Xbox and Steam. User-created content is also cross-platform, including EventLab races, Prefabs, Garages, Estates, liveries and tuning setups. The US Store says a Microsoft account is required for cross-platform play and that online console multiplayer requires a separately sold PlayStation Plus subscription. The publisher’s cross-platform announcement and the Store listing state these conditions.
What PS5 performance modes are planned?
Playground Games says its PS5 pre-order trailer was captured on a base PlayStation 5 in 4K 30FPS Quality mode and that a 60FPS Performance mode will be available. These are announced mode descriptions, not independent measurements of the shipping game’s resolution, frame-rate stability or visual differences. The publisher announcement describes the modes.

The US PlayStation Store describes the game as featuring over 550 real-world cars and lists Japan, Tokyo City, solo and co-op campaign play, and multiplayer modes. The car figure is the Store’s own product-page claim, not an independent count. See the US PlayStation Store listing for its description.
