For the Series 5 Week 4 Treasure Hunt documented on October 1, 2026, the Nangan chest is at the Irokawa Space Center, in the south of Nangan. From the runway, head toward the launchpad and search the raised concrete area at the rocket: the chest is in the north corner, left of the rocket and fuel tanks. Drive into it to smash it and complete the hunt.
Where to find the Nangan Treasure Hunt chest
- Open the map and travel to the Irokawa Space Center at the southern end of the Nangan Region.
- Fast travel to the runway, then drive toward the launchpad and rocket. Head for the rocket, not the drag strip.
- At the rocket, check the raised upper-level concrete area. The chest is in the site’s north corner, to the left of the rocket and fuel tanks.
- Drive into the chest to smash it and register the challenge as complete.
The October 1, 2026 guides from PC Gamer and Traxion.GG agree on the space center. PC Gamer gives the more precise north-corner placement; Traxion.GG describes the runway-to-launchpad approach.
Clue and rewards
The in-game clue reads: “Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!” It does not name the landmark, so use the Nangan location and the photo/site features to identify the space center.
- 100,000 credits
- 5,000 XP
- 3 Season Progress points
PC Gamer reports all three rewards, and Traxion.GG also confirms the three Season Progress points. For the playlist period covered by those October 2026 guides, Traxion.GG lists the 2002 Lotus Esprit V8 at 20 points and the 2023 Lotus Emira at 40 points. These are current-period reward thresholds, not permanent game rules.

Does the Treasure Map add-on reveal this chest?
No. The Xbox Store listing for Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Map says the add-on reveals Bonus Boards, Barn Finds, Regional Mascots, Treasure Chests, and Treasure Cars, but excludes Seasonal Collectables featured in the Festival Playlist. It is therefore not a way to locate this seasonal hunt chest.
Why older directions may not match
An earlier Nangan hunt walkthrough published by Traxion.GG on July 16, 2026 also placed a chest at Irokawa Space Center, but described industrial buildings with pipes and tanks and used different runway orientation wording. That is a different playlist period; for the October 2026 hunt, use the rocket and north-corner directions above: Traxion.GG’s July 2026 walkthrough.
