Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2026 adds 24 Trick or Treat Sprite variants. The collection is scheduled to arrive in Battle Royale and Zero Build on October 8, 2026, though the Trick or Treat Crown is available early. To find most variants, farm rare chests, pumpkins, and Trick or Treat Cheat Codes in the area listed for that Sprite; the Crown instead requires a specific mastery chain and Victory Royales.
Are the Trick or Treat Sprites available yet?
As of October 3, 2026, the Trick or Treat Crown is available early, while trackers report the other 23 variants as unreleased. The collection is scheduled to roll out in Battle Royale and Zero Build on Thursday, October 8. Epic says to search new Pumpkin Chests for Sprites across the Island, with additional arrivals through the month, including community-made #DesignASprite winners. Live-service availability may change.

How to find most Trick or Treat Sprites
For location-based variants, search rare chests and pumpkins and enter Trick or Treat Cheat Codes in the named area. Rare chests and Vault loot can contain variants. Pumpkin smashing is especially useful around Nightmare Neighborhood, the Fortnitemares POI that replaced The Battlewoods.

- Enter Trick or Treat Cheat Codes for additional chances.
- If you have a Skeleton Key, open Secret Rooms; they may contain Sprites.
- Check Vaults as you encounter them, since Vault loot can also contain variants.
All Trick or Treat variants share the same effect: they give you a chance to find candy when opening containers. Sprite XP can be increased by searching chests, smashing pumpkins, opening containers, extracting other Sprites, and eliminating opponents, NPCs, or bosses.

How to unlock the Trick or Treat Crown
The Crown is not obtained by substituting Adventure or by trading. Complete the Crown variants in this exact order, winning a Victory Royale while the current required Sprite is equipped:

For the 23 area-based variants, route planning is about targeting the named POI and searching its relevant containers and pumpkins. Some areas serve multiple variants, such as Green Hill Zone, Stone Sanctum, Golden Grove, and Nightmare Neighborhood. The Crown is a separate progression task: it depends on equipped variants and wins, not simply on finding loot in its associated location.
