Gold Sprites give a reported 3× bonus to Sprite XP earned from eliminations while retaining the underlying Sprite’s ability. Beebom’s September 25, 2026 guide names 20 Gold Sprites, but a community checklist updated October 1 reports 24 released Sprites that can have variants. The 20-name list below is therefore a dated roster, not a confirmed complete list for October 7.
Gold Sprite roster: the September 25 list
Beebom’s guide lists these 20 Gold Sprites. The later October 1 checklist reports 24 released variant-capable Sprites, but does not provide a matching full Gold name list. Epic’s season announcement introduces the new Sprite generation and Sprite Garden, but does not enumerate Gold variants.

Where to look for Gold Sprites
Beebom’s September guide reports Rare or Relic Chests and Cheat Codes as common routes, with suggested locations varying by Sprite. Treat these as places and methods to search, not guaranteed drops. The October community checklist also describes supply drops and world spawns as broader sources. Neither source establishes that a particular chest or location will produce a Gold Sprite.

For Gold Morgana and Gold Birthday, Beebom’s September guide marked acquisition details “TBA.” It described Gold Crown as coming from leveling up the previous variant; a later community checklist gives a more specific condition below. The October checklist also reports chest, supply-drop, and world-spawn sources more broadly, without mapping each of those sources to every name.

How to keep a Gold Sprite you find
The October community checklist says a player must extract before the match ends to retain a Gold Sprite and add it to their collection and Sprite Garden. Epic Games’ August 20, 2026 season announcement confirms that Season 3 Runners remain in the new Sprite Garden, where players can play with them and show their collection to friends. Epic also says Sprite Dust can be spent on Loot Hacks to customize bonus items from Battle Royale chests; that announcement does not provide Gold-specific acquisition instructions.
Gold Crown’s reported unlock condition
The October 1 community checklist says Gold Crown is unlocked by winning a match while Cheat Master Crown is equipped. That later, more specific instruction differs from Beebom’s earlier “level up the previous variant” description. The win condition is community-reported, not confirmed in Epic’s season overview.
What the Gold bonus changes
Beebom and the October checklist report that Gold Sprites award 3× bonus Sprite XP from eliminations, while keeping the underlying Sprite ability. This is Sprite XP, not an established Battle Pass XP bonus. The checklist contrasts that leveling benefit with Cheat Master’s Cheat Code perk and Loot Hacker’s extra items from Loot Hacks; treat that comparison as community-guide reporting rather than an official Epic explanation.

How rare are Gold Sprites?
Epic has not published Season 4 Gold Sprite drop rates, according to the October community checklist. Beebom’s September article gives percentage estimates, but they are not official rates and should not be treated as dependable odds. The available sources do not establish a verified chance for any individual Gold Sprite.
What Epic confirms about Sprites
Epic Games’ Chapter 7 Season 4 announcement says the season brings a new generation of Sprites to Battle Royale and that players can use Sprite Dust on Loot Hacks to add bonus items to chest drops. It establishes the broader Sprite and Sprite Garden context, but not the Gold roster, individual Gold routes, or Gold drop rates.
