A dedicated guitar controller can make Fortnite Festival’s Pro Lead and Pro Bass parts playable with an instrument-shaped controller, but compatibility depends on the exact console version and setup. The cited October 6, 2026 Prime Big Deal Days article reported a PlayStation PDP Riffmaster for $89.99 (40% off) and discounts of up to 30% on CRKD controllers; those are historical prices, not confirmed live offers.
What is Fortnite Festival?
Fortnite Festival is a rhythm-game mode in Fortnite. Epic says players can use supported controllers, including guitar controllers, for Pro Lead and Pro Bass parts. Guitar controllers can also play non-Pro parts such as vocals. Epic’s Fortnite Festival information describes the mode and its instrument parts.
Does a guitar controller work with Fortnite Festival?
Yes, if the guitar is supported for your platform and connected in the right mode. Epic’s support guidance says Pro Lead and Pro Bass should appear after connecting a supported guitar and selecting an instrument part. If those parts do not show, check the in-game “Always Display Pro Parts” setting. See Epic’s Pro Lead and Pro Bass support instructions.

How to check a Prime Day guitar-controller deal
- Match the platform. Read the listing’s full product name and platform compatibility before comparing discounts. A PlayStation version’s compatibility does not establish support for Xbox or PC.
- Check the live price and eligibility. The October 6, 2026 article described the reported offers as Prime-member deals. Confirm the current listing price, stock, and any membership requirement; the reported discount may have ended.
- Verify model-specific features. Check whether the listing is wired or wireless, and confirm battery, portability, and customization details on the manufacturer page for that variant.
- Check firmware and connection mode. For a CRKD Xbox model, consult the current CRKD firmware instructions and confirm the required input slider and mode for Festival Mode.
- Confirm the game recognizes the guitar. Connect the supported controller, choose an instrument part, and look for Pro Lead or Pro Bass. If they are missing, consult Epic’s support guidance and the “Always Display Pro Parts” setting.
