Crew is not automatically a cash-saving option. Its value depends on whether you would use the included passes, cosmetic pack, Rocket League benefit and V-Bucks. Compare the subscription’s full monthly price with the benefits you actually want, rather than treating every included item as money saved.

Epic says subscribers can claim premium rewards from the included Fortnite passes while Crew is active. Under the policy Epic announced for new subscribers beginning December 1, 2024, rewards already earned remain yours, but you need an active subscription to claim premium rewards. That means canceling does not keep the premium reward track open for future claims after the active subscription period ends. See Epic’s policy announcement.

What the Battle Pass costs—and whether it pays for the next one
The Battle Pass costs 800 V-Bucks. Epic says completing it awards 800 V-Bucks, enough to buy another Battle Pass at the same price. The award depends on completing the pass; it is not an upfront rebate. The current Override pass page says progression comes from earning XP in any Fortnite experience and that the pass ends November 1, 2026, Eastern Time.
For the current pass, see Epic’s Override Battle Pass page. Its end date matters if you are deciding whether there is enough time to earn the rewards you want.

U.S. V-Bucks prices and how to compare the packs
Epic’s March 2026 announcement lists these U.S. pack prices:
| Price | V-Bucks |
|---|---|
| $8.99 | 800 |
| $22.99 | 2,400 |
| $36.99 | 4,500 |
| $89.99 | 12,500 |
The same announcement lists exact-amount purchases at approximately $0.99 for 50 V-Bucks, with regional variation. These are U.S. figures, not a promise of the price shown on every platform or in every country. Confirm the quantity and total in your platform’s checkout before paying. Epic’s announcement of the March 2026 changes is at Fortnite V-Bucks Price Increase.
Rank #3
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Which option fits your situation?
- Choose the Battle Pass if the seasonal rewards are what you want and you expect to earn enough XP to complete it and collect its 800 V-Bucks.
- Consider Crew if you want benefits across several passes and the other included items, and will keep the subscription active while claiming premium rewards.
- Buy V-Bucks directly if you want currency for eligible purchases without subscribing or relying on Battle Pass completion. Compare the pack amounts with your intended purchase and the price shown at checkout.
Gift cards and regional checkout
Epic says existing V-Bucks gift cards continue to redeem for the value printed on them. That confirms the gift-card redemption path, but does not establish current stock, seller authorization, or available denominations at any particular retailer. For any card, check that its region and printed value suit your account before buying. Epic’s announcement also notes regional value differences, so use your platform’s checkout as the final price reference.
