Choose FORM Smart Swim 2 LT if you want to see swim metrics such as pace while you are in the water. Choose Speedo iQ Vanquisher 3.0 Track if you prefer a screen-free swim and want to review stroke and technique data in the app afterward. Speedo’s system tracks in the background; it does not display data in the goggles while you swim.
Which goggles show metrics while you swim?
FORM Smart Swim 2 LT has an in-goggle display for time, distance, and pace. Its metrics are configurable, and it detects strokes. The display is the main difference for swimmers who want live guidance rather than checking a phone after a session. FORM also offers post-swim app review and sharing with Apple Health, Strava, and other services. FORM’s US product page describes the listed features.
Speedo iQ Vanquisher 3.0 Track is designed for screen-free swimming. Its removable module records data in the background; swimmers review and analyze sessions later in the Speedo iQ app. It is not an in-goggle display for live pace or other metrics. Speedo’s US listing describes the tracking module and app workflow.

FORM Smart Swim 2 LT: live metrics and session review
FORM lists time, distance, pace, configurable metrics, and stroke detection. It also supports reviewing a swim after it ends. For open-water use, FORM describes optional GPS distance and pace when paired with an Apple Watch or Garmin, plus a built-in digital compass feature called SwimStraight. Those open-water features are separate from the core in-goggle display. FORM labels Premium separately and says the core system does not require a subscription; check the feature tier if a particular capability matters to you.

Speedo iQ Vanquisher 3.0 Track: stroke and technique insights after the swim
Speedo says iQ covers freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Its listed technique details include head position, breathing angle, and turn performance. The emphasis is analyzing how a session went afterward, not receiving visual prompts or pace data during the swim. The reviewed US listing says no subscription is required.
What are the price and battery differences?
The manufacturer US product pages listed these prices when checked in 2026. They are page prices, not independent test results, and can change. FORM lists a battery life of up to 14 hours between charges; the Speedo product pages reviewed do not publish a battery-life figure.

FORM’s 14-hour figure comes from its product and support listings, not a comparative test. See FORM’s battery-life information. Speedo’s overview lists UK variants at £149, while its US listing showed $189; these are region-specific listings and should not be treated as interchangeable prices. FORM Smart Swim 2 LT does not include heart-rate monitoring. FORM identifies integrated heart rate as a feature of the higher Smart Swim 2 model, not the LT. The reviewed Speedo iQ Vanquisher 3.0 Track description does not identify heart-rate tracking.

Speedo says iQ Track is World Aquatics approved. FORM’s reviewed product page says its goggles and features are race approved but does not name an approving organization there. The available product information therefore does not establish that both have approval from the same body.

- Pick FORM Smart Swim 2 LT if seeing time, distance, or pace while swimming is central to your routine, or if you want configurable live metrics.
- Pick Speedo iQ Vanquisher 3.0 Track if you prefer a screen-free swim and value post-session analysis across strokes and technique details such as breathing angle and turns.
- Consider the model boundary: LT omits heart-rate monitoring, and FORM’s optional open-water GPS requires pairing with an Apple Watch or Garmin.
Price alone does not settle the choice: the products are built around different feedback preferences. Fit and comfort are personal, and the reviewed official product information does not establish a tested comfort winner. FORM lists a two-year warranty and 30-day returns on its US page; return and shipping terms vary by country.
