The Fire TV Stick 4K announced on September 30, 2026, is being reported at £32.99 in the UK, down from £69.99—a 53% reduction. In the US, T3 reports a separate launch offer of $29.99 from $59.99 with code 4KINTRO. These are launch-deal reports, not guaranteed live prices: check the Amazon listing for your country and confirm any code or eligibility requirement before ordering.
What the reported launch deals are
T3’s October 1, 2026 report lists the UK Fire TV Stick 4K at £32.99, reduced from £69.99, and the US offer at $29.99, reduced from $59.99 with code 4KINTRO. The US code is applied through a redemption control on Amazon’s listing, according to T3. Prices and promotion terms can change, so verify the live regional listing before purchase.
| Market and promotion | Reported price | Conditions and source |
|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom launch offer | £32.99, down from £69.99 (53% off) | T3, October 1, 2026; check the live UK listing. T3 deal report |
| United States launch offer | $29.99, down from $59.99 | T3 reports code 4KINTRO; confirm the code and any eligibility on the US listing. T3 deal report |
| United States Prime Big Deal Days promotion | $39.99 | Separately reported by TechRadar for the October 6–7, 2026 event; this is not the same offer as T3’s $29.99 launch deal. TechRadar report |
| United Kingdom Prime Big Deal Days promotion | £32.99 | TechRadar reports this event price. TechRadar report |
Amazon’s published US list price is $59.99. Its Prime Big Deal Days event is scheduled for October 6–7, 2026, as a 48-hour sale. The £32.99 UK launch price should not be described as a Prime event offer, and the two reported US discounts should not be collapsed into one price. Amazon’s event announcement

This is the model Amazon announced on September 30, 2026—not an earlier Fire TV Stick 4K that happens to share the name. Amazon describes a slim 4K streaming stick that connects to a TV’s HDMI port, supports Wi-Fi 6, and can draw power from the TV’s USB port using the included cable. Amazon calls the stick faster than the previous-generation Fire TV Stick 4K Select, but its announcement does not quantify that comparison. TechRadar reports Amazon claims 20–40% faster viewing start-up than rival sticks and 35% faster app launches; those are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Vega OS changes app flexibility
The 2026 stick runs Amazon’s Vega operating system and comes with Alexa+ and the new Fire TV experience. Amazon’s announcement says more than 2,000 apps had been added to the Vega catalog since the first Vega device shipped, including services such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video, Spotify, Xbox, VLC, and VPN apps. That catalog figure is Amazon’s statement and can change.

The practical trade-off is sideloading: T3 reports apps that are not in the built-in app store cannot be sideloaded on this model. If you rely on installing apps outside an official store, check app availability before buying; a low price will not compensate for a missing app you depend on. T3’s report
The redesigned remote is included
Amazon says the bundled redesigned Fire TV Remote has tactile controls and a customizable button. It is not an extra purchase required to use this stick. Amazon lists the remote separately at $14.99 in the US, with preorders available and shipping expected in late October 2026; regional price and availability may differ. Amazon also said Fire TV Remote Plus was expected in early 2027, but that future remote is not part of this bundle. Amazon Developer Community announcement

Is the deal a good fit?
- Consider it if you want 4K streaming, your TV has an available HDMI port, the apps you use are in Vega’s store, and the live price in your market matches the reported offer.
- Pause if you depend on sideloaded apps or need confirmation of a particular service before switching platforms.
- For an existing Fire TV owner, the redesigned remote is an optional standalone upgrade; the new stick already includes it.
- Do not assume a US deal is universal: T3’s $29.99 launch offer uses code 4KINTRO, while TechRadar’s $39.99 figure is a separately reported Prime Big Deal Days price.
Amazon’s descriptions of the product and platform are available in its Japan Press Center announcement and Developer Community post.
