Why was the sausage recalled?
The reported concern is possible contamination with clear, hard plastic. Country Rebel says Fontanini Foods acted after receiving two customer complaints about plastic found in the sausage. Its report says no injuries had been reported as of Oct. 1, 2026; that is the status at the time of that report, not a later confirmed update.
