Five Xbox games were reported as scheduled for removal from sale in May and June 2026: Pinball FX3, LEGO 2K Drive, Battlefield Hardline, Horizon Chase Turbo, and Rec Room. Those dates have passed. The May 15, 2026 update from Pure Xbox reported the schedule, but it does not establish which titles are currently available or whether their online services remain active.
Which five Xbox games were on the delisting list?
Pure Xbox’s May 15, 2026 update gave the following dates. Because these were reported future dates at the time, the list should be read as a historical schedule—not confirmation of present-day Store listings.
| Game | Reported delisting date | What the update said about access or online features |
|---|---|---|
| Pinball FX3 | Already removed by the beginning of May 2026 | The update did not state whether existing owners could redownload it or describe its online-service status. |
| LEGO 2K Drive | May 19, 2026 | The update reported that multiplayer servers were scheduled to close May 31, 2027. It said functions requiring online servers would stop working after that date. |
| Battlefield Hardline | May 22, 2026 | The update did not state whether existing owners could redownload it or describe its online-service status. |
| Horizon Chase Turbo | June 1, 2026 | The update said existing owners would continue to be able to download their copy. |
| Rec Room | June 1, 2026 | The update described the game as online-only and said its servers would go offline with its delisting. |
These access and service details are claims reported in the Pure Xbox update, not independently verified current conditions. The update did not provide a current status for all five games.

A delisting removes a game from sale; it does not, by itself, answer whether people who already own it can download it again or whether its online features still work. Those are separate questions, and the May 2026 report gave different information for different titles.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker supports online play for up to 6 players.
- DIGITAL BOOKS: Metal Gear Solid 4: Screenplay Book, Metal Gear Solid 4: Master Book, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Screenplay Book, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Master Book. All are accessible via the in-game Start Menu.
- METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1 SAVE-DATA BONUS*: If a user has saved data for any title included in METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.1, you can receive in-game items usable in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) respectively. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Bonus: Gold Camouflage. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) Bonus: GOLD Uniform.
- For Horizon Chase Turbo, the report specifically said existing owners would retain the ability to download their copy.
- For LEGO 2K Drive, the reported end date for multiplayer servers was May 31, 2027—not the May 19, 2026 sale-removal date. The update said server-dependent functions would no longer work after the server closure.
- For Rec Room, the report said the game was online-only and that its servers would go offline with the delisting.
- For Pinball FX3 and Battlefield Hardline, the update did not specify redownload access or service status.
Since the reported dates have passed, check the current Xbox Store listing and official game or publisher support information for present availability and service status. The May 2026 article alone cannot confirm either.
