Its published specifications make it possible to assess fit and features, but the publicly visible CHOICE page does not show its test scores or detailed verdict. That means there is not enough public evidence to call it a strong or weak performer; buyers should confirm the exact model, installation requirements and local price before deciding.

Fisher & Paykel’s 2023 quick reference identifies the OB60SC7CEX1 as a 60cm built-in oven with seven functions, six shelf positions and an A energy rating. It lists 85L as total capacity. CHOICE has an exact-model review page and lists the oven as a 60cm wall oven at A$969. The page was observed in 2026, but that figure is a page price, not confirmation of a current seller offer or availability. The page identifies expert reviewer Kim Gilmour, a senior project officer who manages product tests, but its model rating and detailed test results are available to members only. Dimensions and installation: will it fit?
Fisher & Paykel’s 2023 quick reference gives exterior dimensions of 598mm high, 597mm wide and 565mm deep, and lists a 13.5A electrical figure. These are product specifications, not a complete cabinet cut-out or installation plan. Confirm cavity dimensions, clearances, ventilation and electrical requirements in the installation guide for the exact model, and have electrical and installation work assessed by a qualified installer. Do not use the oven’s headline dimensions alone to decide that it will fit: cabinetry and installation clearances matter. Consult the manufacturer’s planning sheet and installation documentation for the model-specific requirements.

Check the suffix, market and warranty
Model suffixes and regional listings matter. Fisher & Paykel’s current New Zealand listing for OB60SC7CEX4 is a related later suffix; its existence does not prove that the CEX4 is identical to the CEX1, or that the CEX1 is currently stocked in New Zealand. Warranty coverage also depends on territory and purchase terms. Fisher & Paykel UK states five years of parts-and-labour cover for UK purchases and lists this model, subject to exclusions and conditions.
