Samsung announced the Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra on September 4, 2025. The phone pairs a 6.7-inch display with Galaxy AI photo and video tools, a 50MP main camera and a 4,900mAh typical battery. The tablets focus on large 120Hz displays, a redesigned S Pen and enhanced DeX; the main choice is between the 11-inch Tab S11 and the 14.6-inch Ultra. These are Samsung’s announced features and specifications, not independent test results.
What’s new with the Galaxy S25 FE?
The Galaxy S25 FE is a 6.7-inch Android phone built around Galaxy AI features, camera tools and a large battery. Samsung lists an Exynos 2400 processor, 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, depending on market. It launched with Android 16 and One UI 8. Samsung says the phone is eligible for seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates; that is Samsung’s support commitment, and update timing can vary by region.
Camera hardware and creative tools
The rear camera system comprises a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera with optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 12MP. Samsung also highlights software tools: Generative Edit for modifying images, Instant Slow-mo for creating slow-motion clips, Audio Eraser for reducing unwanted sound, and Auto Trim for editing video. These describe the announced hardware and features, not a tested improvement over another phone.

Battery, charging and display
Samsung specifies a 4,900mAh typical-capacity battery and support for 45W wired charging. Actual battery life depends on factors such as usage and network conditions. Samsung also says the vapor chamber is more than 10% larger than the previous generation; that is a manufacturer comparison, not an independent thermal test.

The FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display measures 6.7 inches and supports 60Hz or 120Hz refresh modes. The phone weighs 190g and measures 76.6 × 161.3 × 7.4mm, according to Samsung’s global specifications. It supports 5G/LTE, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, though Samsung says storage and connectivity options vary by country and carrier.
How do the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra differ?
Both tablets use a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. The most visible difference is size: the Tab S11 is designed around an 11-inch screen, while the Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen. That affects portability as well as how much room you have for documents, drawing and multitasking.

Samsung describes the S Pen as redesigned, with a cone-shaped tip intended to support greater tilt angles and a hexagonal shape intended to feel more ergonomic. Those design aims may matter to people who draw or write by hand, but Samsung’s announcement does not establish a measured advantage in everyday use.
The tablets also arrive with One UI 8 and enhanced Samsung DeX. Samsung says the Tab S11 Ultra can use DeX Extended Mode with an external monitor to create a dual-screen setup, and supports up to four customizable workspaces. This is a feature description from Samsung, not an independent assessment of multitasking performance.
Which device fits which job?
- Choose the S25 FE if you want a phone: Its smaller 6.7-inch form, phone camera system and Galaxy AI editing features suit mobile communication, photography and video.
- Consider the Tab S11 for a more portable tablet: Its 11-inch display and lower listed weight make it the smaller option for reading, note-taking and tablet apps.
- Consider the Tab S11 Ultra for more screen workspace: Its 14.6-inch panel and DeX Extended Mode support are aimed at larger-screen productivity, particularly with an external monitor.
The phone and tablets are different device types rather than direct substitutes. Within the tablet family, compare screen size and weight first, then check storage, Wi-Fi generation and whether the particular configuration has cellular service.
