To watch Indonesian TV abroad, open the official service that carries the channel or program you want and test that exact stream from your destination country. A service may load while a particular channel or episode remains blocked because viewing rights vary by country—and sometimes by title.
Why Indonesian TV streams may be blocked abroad
Streaming rights are territorial. Vidio says some channels must be blocked in certain countries under regional rights agreements, and that availability can differ between programs. Its location checks apply when viewers try to play content, so being able to open a website or app does not establish that a particular stream will work. Vidio’s explanation of geographic restrictions describes the channel-level issue, while its support guidance on content availability explains that rights can vary by title and country.

Vidio
Vidio’s support guidance, updated August 5, 2026, says an Indonesian subscription cannot be used from the viewer’s current location. It directs viewers in Malaysia to Vidio Premium Malaysia and viewers outside Indonesia and Malaysia to Vidio Premium International. These are package directions, not a promise that every channel or program is licensed in every destination. Check the current offer and test the specific content from the country where you plan to watch. See Vidio’s location and subscription guidance.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIf you want a replay rather than a live broadcast, Vidio says catch-up is available only for selected streaming TV channels; its listed stations include TVRI and ANTV. A separate Vidio Basic bundle page offered through an internet-provider package lists those channels among 40+ channels. That offer-specific bundle should not be treated as a description of every Vidio plan or as proof of availability abroad. Confirm the package, replay, and destination-country rights before subscribing. Vidio catch-up TV information and the Vidio Basic bundle page describe those respective offerings.

RCTI+
RCTI+’s terms describe free-to-air programs available live or on demand, but access to third-party content is subject to geographic restrictions. The terms also prohibit bypassing geo-filtering and other access controls. Check RCTI+’s official service for the specific program from your location rather than assuming it provides a universal international feed. Read the RCTI+ terms and conditions.
TVRI and TVRI World
TVRI’s official live-stream page advertises streaming without a subscription charge, and its channel information identifies TVRI World on TVRI Klik. These pages are useful places to check for a live stream, but they do not establish that every stream is accessible in every country. Open the official stream from your destination and verify that it plays. Check the TVRI live-stream page and TVRI’s official site.

A practical way to find a working stream
- Identify the exact content. Note whether you need a channel’s live broadcast, a particular program, or a replay. Rights may differ among channels and individual titles.
- Start with the broadcaster or service’s official app or website. From the country where you will watch, search for the exact channel or episode and try to play it. A service being reachable is not the same as the stream being licensed there.
- Check the relevant package and location rules. If you use Vidio, consult its current guidance for your country: Malaysia is directed to Premium Malaysia, while other locations outside Indonesia are directed to Premium International. Then verify the desired content itself.
- For a TVRI stream, test both official routes. Check the TVRI live-stream page and TVRI Klik/TVRI World from your location; the available information does not provide a country-by-country access list.
- For a replay, check catch-up separately. Confirm that the station is among the selected channels with catch-up and that the particular replay is playable in your country.
What to verify before choosing a service
- Destination: Does the official service allow the specific stream in the country where you are watching?
- Content: Is the exact channel and program included, rather than only the service or a related channel?
- Format: Do you need live viewing, on-demand episodes, or a catch-up replay?
- Subscription: Does your location require a country-specific package, and do its current terms include the content you want?
- Playback: Does the stream work on your device and browser after you sign in, if sign-in is required?
The official pages cited here do not provide a complete channel-by-country availability matrix or a reliable price comparison. Confirm current terms and playback directly with the service before paying.
Why a device or access workaround may not solve it
An antenna or terrestrial receiver is not established as a way to receive Indonesian broadcasts overseas, and a streaming device does not change a program’s territorial rights. RCTI+’s terms prohibit bypassing geo-filtering, so use the service’s official availability and subscription routes rather than trying to evade its access controls.
