The Final UX2000 is a budget-minded over-ear Bluetooth headphone whose hybrid active noise canceling works well against steady background noise, but it does not eliminate everything. Its standout practical features are long rated battery life, multipoint pairing and a 3.5 mm wired mode. The compromises include a basic SBC/AAC codec list and no companion-app support reported by TechRadar.

Is the Final UX2000 good for noise canceling?

Yes, for steady environmental sounds, the UX2000 offers useful noise canceling for a budget headphone. Final describes its hybrid ANC as using microphones inside and outside the earcups to analyze noise. In TechRadar’s review, it “works fairly well” against an ever-present dehumidifier and other environmental noise, “but it’s not perfect.” That points to a practical reduction in persistent background sound, not flagship-level isolation or silence in every situation.

Hybrid ANC is most useful when you want to soften ongoing noise. The available review evidence does not establish performance across every environment, so do not assume it will block sudden sounds or speech completely. TechRadar’s review: Final UX2000 review.

How long does the battery last?

Final rates the UX2000 for up to 45 hours of continuous playback with ANC on, or up to 60 hours with ANC off. The figures are manufacturer ratings from its product documentation, not independent test results; actual runtime can vary with use. The battery is specified at 700 mAh, and charging is listed at 2.5 hours.

final VR2000 Immersive 3D Live Sound Headphones with Built-in Microphone and Controls for VR, ASMR, Gaming and 360 Music
  • FAST RESPONSE GAMING SOUND: VR2000 gaming earphones are suitable for fast reaction and directiol sound gaming environments - perfect for first person shooter (FPS), one-on-one fighting, dancing & music games. VR2000 heightens the ability to quickly react to crucial sounds required during gameplay.
  • REDESIGNED 'F-CORE DU' DRIVER: In pursuit of unparalleled sound quality unexpected at this price point, Fil re-envisioned everything, from the diaphragm, voice coil, magnet, magnetic circuit, and various driver components' adhesives, to even the production equipment.
  • DESIGN OVERHAUL: Different to Final's normal offerings they have introduced a distinct hue to the VR2000. Every part, from the housing, ear tips, and cables to the ear hooks, is unified in the Dark Olive colour scheme.
  • PERFECT EAR TIP DESIGN: The ear tips utilize two different types of silicone material, each with a distinct hardness for the sound conduit and the part that touches the ear. For the part that touches the ear, a softer silicone ensures a comfortable fit and superior noise isolation.
  • CUSTOM-FIT FEELING: The VR2000 builds on the optimal housing design established to achieve an even superior fit. The comfort of earphones is determined by the absence of pressure. Final aimed for a fit without pressure by limiting the contact area rather than opting for a design that makes larger organic contact with the ears.

Does the UX2000 support multipoint and wired listening?

Yes. Multipoint pairing lets the headphone connect with two devices, useful when switching between a computer and phone. It also has a 3.5 mm wired mode, so you can listen through a cable if you prefer a wired connection. The documentation establishes wired use but does not specify whether every function works when the battery is depleted; do not rely on passive wired playback after the battery dies without checking the manual or confirming with the seller.

What are the UX2000’s Bluetooth, codec and gaming features?

The UX2000 uses Bluetooth 5.3 and supports the SBC and AAC audio codecs. TechRadar reports that it has no companion app, so the feature set does not include app-based sound adjustments or configuration. Final also specifies a 45 ms low-latency gaming mode, intended to reduce the delay between game audio and on-screen action. That is a manufacturer figure; it is not a guarantee of zero delay in every game or device setup.

How it compares with other budget ANC headphones

TechRadar identifies the Sony WH-CH720N and JBL Tune 770NC as relevant competitors, but directly comparable specifications and current prices are not established here. A meaningful comparison therefore depends on checking current local listings and reviews, especially for ANC performance, app and codec support, wired listening, multipoint, battery ratings and fit. The UX2000’s known strengths are its stated battery endurance, multipoint, wired mode and gaming setting; its clearest feature limitation is the basic codec support and absence of an app reported by TechRadar.

Is the Final UX2000 worth it on a budget?

The UX2000 is worth considering if you want effective, though imperfect, cancellation of steady background noise alongside multipoint, a wired option and long manufacturer-rated battery life. It is less compelling if you need stronger isolation, app controls or broader codec support. Judge the value using the current price in your own market: Final launched it in Japan at ¥12,800 tax included in December 2023, while the Japanese official store listing retrieved for this article showed ¥9,800.
