The report does not specify how much maximum HP increases, whether the increase applies after every visit, or whether it is temporary or permanent. It also describes skins as a possible reward, not a guaranteed item from every hot spring.

Coverage of the clips says Cloud, Barret, and Cid appear in hot-spring outfits. Red XIII and Vincent are also described as participating in the scenes. That distinction matters: being present in a hot-spring scene is not the same as confirmation of a separate unlockable outfit for that character.

Can players unlock the outfits from the scenes?
The reported Square Enix post says costume skins can be obtained at hot springs, but it does not identify which specific outfits are rewards or explain the unlock conditions. TechCapsules quotes director Naoki Hamaguchi in a follow-up post as saying: “We’re sharing a preview of some of the hot spring events revealed during our stage presentation at SDCC Málaga.” This supports reading the clips as a preview of events; it does not establish that every outfit visible in them is a player-unlockable skin.

When does FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION release, and where?
Square Enix lists April 8, 2027 as the scheduled release date. The publisher’s announcement names PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox on PC as platforms. Release timing and storefront availability can be checked on Square Enix’s announcement.
Square Enix also lists physical editions for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Its announcement says the Amazon Day 1 Edition includes a folded poster; that is an edition extra, not an additional hot-spring feature. Availability and packaging may vary by region, so check the current retailer listing for the edition you intend to buy.
