The FFalcon 40F1 is a 40-inch Full HD television with a 1920 × 1080 resolution, two HDMI inputs and one USB 2.0 port. It is not listed as a smart TV by CHOICE, and a 2018 review of a Philippines-market unit also describes it as non-smart. That makes it best suited to buyers who want a basic screen or are prepared to add streaming through an HDMI device. The model is discontinued, so treat it as a used or remaining-stock purchase and verify the exact unit before paying.
What is the FFalcon 40F1?
FFALCON’s product sheet identifies the 40F1 as a 40-inch Full HD LED TV. Its native resolution is 1920 × 1080 pixels: sharper than a 720p set, but not 4K. The specifications below come from the manufacturer’s product sheet, which notes that specifications may change.

Is the FFalcon 40F1 a smart TV?
CHOICE lists the 40F1 as having no smart apps. In a November 29, 2018 hands-on review, YugaTech likewise described its tested Philippines-market 40F1 as not being a Smart TV and having no internet connectivity. These sources indicate that the reviewed configuration does not provide built-in internet streaming. Regional revisions may differ, so check the menus and specifications of the individual set rather than assuming every unit is identical.

If the unit you are considering matches that non-smart configuration, an HDMI streaming media player is a possible way to add streaming. Confirm the TV’s working HDMI inputs and the player’s requirements before buying.

Do not mistake the 40F1 for the FFALCON 40SF1. The manufacturer’s separate 40SF1 sheet lists it as a smart model with apps including Netflix, YouTube and Stan, plus Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Those are 40SF1 features, not evidence of 40F1 capabilities. The 40SF1 sheet also lists a different 200 × 200 mm VESA pattern.

How does the picture look?
YugaTech reviewer Vaughn Chua reported nice colors and dynamic contrast on the Philippines-market sample tested for the November 29, 2018 review. The reviewer also observed reds that tended to look oversaturated and screen bleeding around the sides in extremely dark scenes. These are observations from one sample, not lab measurements or proof that every 40F1 has the same issues.
CHOICE’s accessible listing supplies basic specifications and marks the model discontinued, but its satisfaction, reliability and some test information are behind member access. The accessible listing therefore does not establish a CHOICE picture-quality verdict.

Connections and mounting
The two HDMI inputs can connect external sources, while the single USB 2.0 port supports the basic USB media playback discussed in YugaTech’s review. The official sheet also lists an AV input and a headphone output. Check the specific unit in person: a used set may have damaged or unreliable ports.
FFALCON specifies a 100 × 100 mm VESA pattern for the 40F1 and says the wall bracket is not included. Before choosing a mount, verify the hole spacing on the actual TV, the mount’s weight rating and the wall’s installation requirements. The 40SF1’s 200 × 200 mm pattern is not interchangeable evidence for the 40F1.

Should you buy a FFalcon 40F1?
It may suit someone who needs an inexpensive 40-inch Full HD screen, has compatible external sources, and has inspected the particular set. Its lack of listed smart apps means streaming may require an add-on; the two HDMI ports also limit how many devices can stay connected without switching or additional equipment.

- Confirm the exact model number on the rear label; 40SF1 is a different model.
- Test the screen, remote, sound, HDMI inputs, USB port and other connections before purchase.
- Check for screen bleeding in a dark scene and look for color issues, while remembering that one review’s observations do not predict every unit.
- Ask about age, condition, remaining warranty, return terms and included accessories.
- If wall-mounting, verify the 100 × 100 mm hole pattern and mounting hardware before installation.
