If you mean the newly announced Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94 and Honda Civic Si Group A Version ’87, there is no verified GT7 racing winner yet. A report published October 3, 2026 said both were due in update 1.72 on October 15—after this article’s October 4, 2026 date—so their in-game performance and lap times cannot yet be compared.
Which car is faster in GT7, the F355 or Civic?
That has not been established. GTPlanet’s October 3, 2026 report lists the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta ’94 and Honda Civic Si Group A Version ’87 among the cars scheduled for update 1.72, due October 15. No comparable lap times or controlled performance results are available in the cited sources. It would be misleading to call either car faster, easier to drive, better in corners, or more competitive online before testing them in the game.
Which Civic is being compared?
The relevant car is the Honda Civic Si Group A Version ’87, not a generic Civic or another Civic model in GT7. The Ferrari in question is specifically the F355 Berlinetta ’94. Keeping those full names matters because a comparison with different model years or variants would answer a different question.

How to compare them fairly after they are available
A useful result needs more than one lap time without context. Compare stock cars separately from tuned builds, and use the same track and event conditions for both.
- Confirm update 1.72 has shipped and verify the exact in-game names, specifications, prices, and availability using current official game information.
- Choose a track and event, then record each car’s in-game PP, drivetrain, horsepower, weight, tire compound, installed parts, and settings.
- Run both cars under the same restrictions, assists, and conditions. State whether the comparison is a clean lap, a multi-lap race, or an event involving fuel and tire strategy.
- For online racing, check the event’s regulations and Balance of Performance (BoP) settings. A result under one track or PP cap does not establish which car is better everywhere.
Gran Turismo says its car profiles include drivetrain layout, horsepower, and weight, and that players can sort the roster by these specifications. Those are useful starting points for a comparison, but they do not replace track testing. The announcement’s figure of 530 cars applies to the roster as of July 2025, not the current 2026 total. Do you need to buy either car?
Gran Turismo 7 vehicle purchases use credits, which players can pay for or earn through game progression, according to Sony’s coverage of update 1.71 on August 19, 2026.
