The Exynos 2400 leads in the benchmark figures reported by the comparison page reviewed here, but those numbers are not from a controlled test of two phones. The chips also differ in their documented CPU and GPU details. Use the scores as a directional snapshot, then compare the exact phones, regional variants, cooling and software before choosing a device.

Benchmark results: Exynos 2400 leads in the reported snapshot

NanoReview’s comparison page reports the following results. They are database figures, not results from a matched handset test; the page does not establish identical devices, firmware, temperatures, cooling, benchmark versions or procedures. The snapshot may change, so treat the values as reported figures rather than a guarantee of what a particular phone will achieve.

Benchmark Exynos 2400 Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
Geekbench 6 single-core 2,196 1,352
Geekbench 6 multi-core 6,964 4,164
AnTuTu 10 1,765,220 956,920

On this page’s figures, the Exynos 2400 scores higher in all three direct comparisons. That does not prove it will feel faster in every phone or remain ahead during a long gaming session: a handset’s cooling, power limits, software and workload affect real-world results.

The same page lists an Exynos 2400 3DMark Wild Life score of 13,892 and 83 fps, but gives no Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 result for that test. It is therefore not a head-to-head GPU benchmark.

How the specifications differ

Specification Exynos 2400 Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
Process 4 nm FinFET, according to Samsung 4 nm, according to Qualcomm
CPU Deca-core: one Cortex-X4 up to 3.2 GHz, five Cortex-A720 up to 2.9 GHz, and four Cortex-A520 up to 1.95 GHz Kryo CPU, peak frequency up to 2.8 GHz; Qualcomm’s product page does not provide a comparable core-by-core breakdown in the cited material
GPU Xclipse 940, based on AMD RDNA 3 architecture; Samsung specifies hardware-accelerated ray tracing Adreno GPU; Qualcomm’s cited product details do not provide a directly comparable GPU architecture breakdown
AI hardware Samsung describes an AI engine and claims a 14.7-fold AI performance improvement over Exynos 2200; this is a Samsung comparison with its previous generation Hexagon NPU; Qualcomm claims 65% improved AI performance over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 predecessor
Memory and storage support LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 Not stated in the cited Qualcomm product material

These are vendor-published specifications and claims, not independent measurements. Qualcomm’s stated 27% CPU, 30% GPU rendering and 65% AI improvements compare Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with its predecessor—not with Exynos 2400. They cannot be used to contradict or confirm the third-party benchmark table above.

What the GPU and AI claims do—and do not—tell you

Samsung explicitly identifies Xclipse 940 as RDNA 3-based and says it supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Qualcomm identifies an Adreno GPU and claims faster rendering than the previous Snapdragon 7-series generation. These descriptions establish different vendor claims, not that one chip runs every game better. Game support, graphics settings, device cooling and driver or software implementation can matter as much as headline features.

The AI percentages are also not comparable across the two chips: Samsung’s 14.7-fold figure is relative to Exynos 2200, while Qualcomm’s 65% figure is relative to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Neither establishes which platform performs better on the same AI workload.

Which phones use these chips?

Samsung lists the Exynos 2400 in Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models. Samsung Gulf’s support article, updated June 30, 2026, says the S24 and S24+ use Exynos 2400 for Galaxy while the S24 Ultra uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy; it also notes that processor choice varies by region. Check the exact model number and market configuration rather than assuming every S24 or S24+ has the same chip.

The cited Qualcomm announcement, dated May 15, 2025, named HONOR, vivo and realme as expected Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 adopters. That announcement does not establish a particular current handset, its regional availability or stock. Confirm the specific model and configuration before comparing it with an Exynos phone.

How to choose between actual phones

The chip names alone are not enough to make a buying decision. Once you have two candidate phones, compare them on these points:

  • Exact model and region: Confirm the processor in the precise model sold where you live, including any regional variant.
  • Sustained performance: Look for repeatable tests under a stated workload and duration, not only a short peak benchmark. Heat management and power limits affect performance over time.
  • Graphics in your games: Check the games and settings you care about on the actual handset. A ray-tracing feature or a GPU label alone does not establish compatibility or frame rates.
  • Network support: Compare the phone’s modem and supported bands for your carrier and country; the chipset comparison figures here do not settle that question.
  • Software support: Check the update policy for the exact phone and market, rather than inferring it from the processor.
  • Price and overall fit: Compare current local prices, battery life, display, camera and other phone features alongside performance.

For a direct phone-to-phone performance judgment, use benchmark results for the exact devices with the same benchmark version and comparable test conditions. The available figures here do not establish that kind of matched comparison.
