Everpure says its new PureKVA capability for FlashBlade pre-stages inference context in GPU memory, with a claimed improvement of up to 20× in time to first token (TTFT). The company also announced an always-on mode of DeepReduce. The performance figure is a vendor claim, not an independently verified result, and Everpure’s announcement says the capabilities are expected in October 2026.
What PureKVA is—and what Everpure says it does
PureKVA stands for Key-Value Accelerator. Everpure describes it as a FlashBlade capability that pre-stages inference context directly into GPU memory. The intended effect is to make context available sooner during inference, reducing the time before a model produces its first token.
Everpure says the approach is designed for enterprise multi-tenancy without moving datasets. The company says it can reduce GPU idle time, increase token throughput and reduce response lag. Time to first token measures the delay between submitting a prompt and receiving the model’s first generated token. A lower TTFT can make an interactive AI system feel more responsive, but it is not the same as generating every subsequent token faster or completing the entire response sooner.

Everpure claims up to 20× faster TTFT for PureKVA. The available announcement does not specify the workload, input or context length, GPU and system configuration, software versions, comparison baseline, or how representative the maximum is. What Always-On DeepReduce is
Everpure says Always-On DeepReduce continuously scans storage blocks across FlashBlade systems for sub-block similarities that traditional deduplication can miss, including similarities in pre-compressed content. According to the company, capacity expands automatically without affecting write performance or requiring manual scheduling. These capacity and performance benefits are vendor statements; the announcement provides no independent measurements.

What to evaluate before applying the claims to your workload
The announcement does not publish comparative results for PureKVA or Always-On DeepReduce. For an evaluation, compare like with like under the workload and configuration you actually expect to run:

- Throughput and concurrency: Measure tokens produced over time and response behavior as simultaneous requests increase, rather than relying on TTFT alone.
- GPU utilization and data locality: Check whether context staging changes GPU idle time or data movement in your deployment.
- Multi-tenant behavior: Test isolation and performance when tenants share infrastructure.
- Storage effects: For DeepReduce, assess capacity changes and write-path impact with representative data, including pre-compressed content.
- Total cost: Compare the complete infrastructure and operating cost against the throughput, responsiveness and usable capacity achieved.
Availability and related architecture
Everpure’s September 30, 2026 announcement gives an October 2026 availability window for the new capabilities, but does not specify a day or deployment qualifications. The announcement also describes a reference architecture using open-weight models. Everpure says this can give enterprises more control over data and predictability in AI spending while reducing external API token use; it names no particular model and reports no measured token reduction.
