Its listed dimensions may suit a standard-sized cutout, but the accessible CHOICE listing does not reveal the expert performance scores, so there is not enough public evidence to recommend it for cooking performance. If you find one, check the exact unit’s condition, rating plate, seller’s warranty and fit before committing.
What is the Everdure CBIE62?
The CBIE62 is a frameless induction cooktop with four cooking zones and touch controls, according to CHOICE’s listing. CHOICE marks the model discontinued. That makes it most relevant to shoppers considering remaining stock or a second-hand unit; the label does not establish that every seller has stopped offering it.
Will it fit your benchtop?
CHOICE lists the cooktop at 59 × 52 cm, with an installation size of 56 × 49 cm. How are the zones configured?
CHOICE lists two zones for pans with a 20 cm usable base diameter and two for 16 cm bases. It cautions that cookware bases should not be smaller or larger than the stated zone sizes. These are the listed zone dimensions, not a claim that every pan of those nominal sizes will work equally well.

The public information therefore supports checking the specifications, not judging how quickly or evenly this cooktop cooks, how its controls feel, or how it compares with current alternatives.

- Measure the opening. Compare your benchtop cutout with 560 × 490 mm and check clearance and fit against the manual for the exact unit.
- Inspect the appliance identity and rating plate. Confirm that it is a CBIE62 and ask the electrician to verify the appliance rating against the supply. The manual places the rating plate on the underside.
- Confirm the sale terms. CHOICE’s listing shows a $748 price and a two-year warranty, but those details do not establish a current offer or the coverage available for a particular used or older unit. Ask the seller for current written price, condition and warranty terms.
- Use a licensed electrician. Everdure’s manual states: “Installation is only permitted by a licensed electrician, and carried out according to instructions provided by the manufacturer.”
Is the CBIE62 worth considering?
It may be worth investigating if you find a unit in suitable condition and its dimensions, zone sizes and electrical requirements meet your needs. But the public evidence does not establish a cooking-performance advantage or a reliable comparison with alternatives. Before choosing it, compare the fit, zone layout, stated capacity, control type, published independent test results, current local availability and warranty that applies to the actual seller and purchase.
