The Eufy Indoor Cam S350 (T8416) pairs a 4K wide-angle lens with a 2K telephoto lens, plus pan-and-tilt movement, tracking, and several detection options. It can monitor live and send alerts without a microSD card, but it will not save clips unless you add local storage, use HomeBase 3, or choose cloud storage. Eufy’s specifications describe the features; they are not independent image-quality or reliability test results.

What the dual-camera design gives you

Eufy specifies two lenses: a 4K wide-angle lens and a 2K telephoto lens. The wide lens is intended to cover more of a room, while the narrower telephoto view provides a closer perspective. Eufy lists 3× optical zoom and 8× digital zoom; optical zoom uses the telephoto lens, while digital zoom enlarges the image electronically.

Lens Resolution Field of view Other listed specifications
Wide-angle 4K (3840 × 2160) 130° diagonal, 110° horizontal, 58° vertical 2.8 mm focal length; f/1.6
Telephoto 2K (2304 × 1296) 46° diagonal, 41° horizontal, 23° vertical 8 mm focal length; f/1.6

Eufy lists both streams at 15 fps and says the camera supports H.265 and H.264 encoding. These are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of how clear footage will look in a particular room or lighting condition. The FAQ also says recording in AI tracking or Dual View mode is limited to a maximum 2K resolution, so the camera’s 4K wide-lens specification does not mean every recording mode captures at 4K. Eufy’s technical specifications and S350 FAQ provide the listed figures and mode limitation.

How much of a room can it cover?

Eufy’s support specification lists 360° horizontal rotation and 75° vertical tilt. Some regional product-page specifications instead show 355° horizontal travel, while the UK page has shown both 355° in its feature summary and 360° in its detailed specification. The support article’s figure is the clearest single technical value, but Eufy’s product-page figures are not fully consistent. The camera can also save preset monitoring positions and use active zones; Eufy says there are two hexagonal active zones for each preset position.

The camera has two 850 nm infrared LEDs, with Eufy specifying illumination up to 40 ft (12 m). For night vision, Eufy advises leaving at least 0.2 m (0.7 ft) between the camera and nearby objects or walls because infrared reflections can affect the image. This is a setup precaution, not an independent night-vision assessment.

Detection, tracking, and two-way talk

Eufy lists human, pet, crying, motion, and audio detection, along with AI tracking, pet commands, and full-duplex two-way talk. Its FAQ describes tracking as moving the camera to keep a target within the field of view. That movement can help follow activity around the room, but tracking and Dual View recording are limited to a maximum 2K resolution according to Eufy.

Eufy specifies human detection up to 30 ft and face detection up to 30 ft. The company explicitly labels the human-detection distance as a lab result that may vary between day and night. Treat these distances as manufacturer claims, not guaranteed detection ranges in a home.

Recording and storage: live view is not saved footage

A microSD card is not included, and Eufy says the camera has no internal storage. Without a storage option, you can still use live view, two-way talk, and motion notifications, but the camera will not save video clips. For local recording, Eufy recommends a Class 10 microSD card and supports cards up to 128 GB. HomeBase 3 and cloud storage are also listed as storage alternatives.

Eufy estimates that a 128 GB card can hold up to 120 hours (five days) of continuous recording at the highest resolution. The FAQ qualifies that figure: actual duration depends on video-quality settings. It is a manufacturer estimate, not a measured guarantee of how long a particular card will retain footage.

Smart-home compatibility and connectivity

Eufy’s FAQ says the S350 does not support Apple HomeKit or Google Home. It does support Alexa and Google Assistant smart displays for viewing live footage. HomeBase 3 compatibility requires firmware V3.3.2.6 or later, according to Eufy; check the hub’s firmware before relying on that connection.

Privacy behavior and cloud handling

Eufy says Privacy mode turns the camera toward a wall or a selected preset, then turns the camera off and stops recording. This is a physical camera-position change followed by shutdown, rather than simply hiding the live view in an app.

Eufy also says recordings are encrypted and bound to the Eufy account. Its FAQ notes that cloud-based features, including Cloud Backup or thumbnail previews, may send video or thumbnail previews to the cloud as needed. These are the manufacturer’s descriptions; they are not an independent security audit. Review the app’s feature settings and privacy information if you plan to enable cloud-dependent features. Eufy’s FAQ describes these behaviors.

Setup and what comes in the box

Eufy’s user guide lists the camera, USB cable, power adapter, wall mount, positioning sticker, screw pack, and quick-start guide. For a wall or ceiling installation, a screwdriver, drill, and ladder may also be needed depending on the location.

  1. Choose a location with suitable Wi-Fi coverage and keep the camera at least 0.2 m (0.7 ft) from nearby objects or walls to reduce infrared reflection.
  2. Set up the camera and test its view before fixing the mount in place, including any preset positions you intend to use.
  3. Disconnect power before mounting the camera, as Eufy advises in its user guide.
  4. If you want saved clips on the camera, insert a separately purchased Class 10 microSD card of up to 128 GB; otherwise select another supported storage option.

Who should consider the Indoor Cam S350?

The S350 is a fit to consider if you want a pan-and-tilt indoor camera with wide and telephoto views, tracking, and the option of local microSD recording. Its main practical trade-offs are that storage must be supplied separately, tracking or Dual View recording tops out at 2K, and HomeKit and Google Home are unsupported. Eufy’s published specifications explain the feature set, but do not establish independent image-quality, long-term reliability, or comparative performance.
