The ET headline advertises thousands of Udemy courses for $10 each, but that price and the offer’s availability are not confirmed for every course or region. Check the specific course’s current price and eligibility at checkout before purchasing.
Are Udemy courses really $10 each?
Udemy runs promotions, but it does not guarantee that any particular course will be included. The company says inclusion can depend on factors such as a course’s topic, enrollments, conversions, ratings, reviews, and learner behavior such as wishlisting. Its Deals Program terms also say that promotional price ranges may vary with market and course information, including category, length, competitive context, and sales performance.

Udemy says deal duration varies, so the ET headline should not be treated as confirmation that the offer is active now. What does Udemy’s $9.99 minimum mean?
Udemy’s current Deals Program terms describe a minimum promotional price of $9.99 USD, or the local equivalent, for applicable Deals Program prices. The terms note exceptions for sales through resellers or distributors. This is a general policy floor, not proof that every course in the ET promotion costs $10 or that this specific offer is live.

Why an older $10 deal may no longer match today’s price
In a community announcement, Udemy said it was trialling pricing changes intended to reduce discounting across the platform: “This experiment is designed to reduce discounting across the platform.” That announcement is another reason to verify a course’s current price rather than rely on an older deal description.
How to decide whether a discounted course is worth buying
Compare the course itself as well as its price. A low checkout price does not tell you whether the material fits your needs or whether buying individual courses is the right option for how you plan to learn.
