eROAMING is a prepaid travel eSIM service for people who want mobile data abroad without swapping a physical SIM. It offers local, regional and global plans, but the right choice depends on the destination and plan: prices and included services vary, and the “unlimited” plans reviewed by TechRadar have a daily high-speed data cap followed by speeds of 128Kbps. Check your device, the live plan details and any destination-specific restrictions before paying.
What is eROAMING?
eROAMING sells digital travel eSIM plans through its app. The provider describes eROAM as powered by TDNT; the Apple App Store and Google Play identify EROAMING LTD as the app developer. Its storefront advertises prepaid local, regional and global options across more than 200 destinations, a provider claim rather than an independently measured coverage result. TechRadar’s review and the Apple App Store listing describe the service and app features.
The app supports destination search, plan comparison, device compatibility checks, QR-code or supported one-tap installation, usage tracking and top-ups on eligible plans. Coverage, validity and included services depend on the destination and plan. The Apple listing puts it plainly: “Plan availability, network coverage, validity and included services may vary by destination.”
What plans and prices did the review find?
TechRadar’s review, published 8 October 2026, compared 5GB plans valid for 30 days in 15 destinations. The prices below are the reviewer’s dated sample, not guaranteed current offers. Check the live storefront for your trip and currency before purchase.

TechRadar also reported regional plans covering Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean, Latin America and the Middle East. In its review, global plan tiers spanned 106 to 161 countries. Catalogs and destination availability can change, so confirm that the plan covers every stop on your itinerary rather than relying on a broad regional or global label.
Does “unlimited” mean unlimited high-speed data?
No. TechRadar reported that the unlimited plans it reviewed included a daily high-speed allowance of 1GB, 2GB, 3GB or 5GB, depending on the plan. After that day’s allowance is used, speed drops to 128Kbps until the next day. That reduced speed may be inadequate for data-heavy tasks, so compare the daily high-speed threshold—not just the word “unlimited”—with how you expect to use your phone.

Is eROAMING compatible with your phone?
Your phone must support eSIM, and the app’s compatibility checker should be used before buying. Check the exact device model, not just the brand: eSIM support can differ between models and versions. Also confirm that your device is unlocked and can use a travel plan alongside your normal SIM if you need to keep your usual number available.

The app listing describes QR-code and supported one-tap installation. Follow the instructions for your device and keep the installation details accessible. TechRadar warns that an installed profile may not be reinstallable after deletion; if you stop using the travel line, disabling it is safer than deleting it. Disabling the eSIM does not pause the plan’s validity.

Can you use it for calls, texts and hotspot?
TechRadar found that mobile-number, calling and texting plans were temporarily unavailable in the live selector when it reviewed the service on 8 October 2026. The app listing says selected destinations may offer minutes and texts, so this availability can differ over time and by destination. If you need a local number or conventional voice service, verify that the specific plan currently includes it before purchase.
Hotspot use is also conditional. According to TechRadar, tethering depends on whether the plan enables it and whether your device supports it. Confirm both conditions if you plan to connect a laptop or another device.

What should you check before travel?
- Destination and itinerary: Confirm that each country you will visit is covered by the selected local, regional or global plan.
- Data and validity: Match the included data, daily high-speed threshold and validity period to your trip length and expected use.
- Purchase timing: TechRadar reported that purchases or top-ups may be restricted after arrival in China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Taiwan. This is not the same as a blanket coverage exclusion; check current rules for your exact destination and arrange the plan before departure if needed.
- Installation: Install and test the profile before travel where practical, and avoid deleting it once installed.
- Voice and tethering: Check the live plan details for calls, texts, a number and hotspot support rather than assuming they are included.
- Support and refunds: Read the current terms before purchase, especially if activation fails or you might need to cancel.
How good is eROAMING support and the app?
TechRadar reported support by email or contact form during GMT business hours, seven days a week except public holidays, with typical replies in 24–72 hours. It also reported that a refund may be possible within 30 days for technical activation failures after troubleshooting. Installed eSIMs, unused data, expired plans and plans already consumed are generally non-refundable under the terms described in that review. Check the provider’s current terms because support arrangements and eligibility can change.
At the time the listings were accessed for the review, the Apple App Store showed 4.9/5 from 86 ratings and Google Play showed 4.0/5 from 77 reviews. These are dated platform snapshots, not a measure of coverage or network performance where you are going. Individual reviews are anecdotes: for example, an App Store reviewer using the display name Leanne M L praised the app’s ease of use in a review dated 24 March, with no year shown on the opened listing.
How to decide whether eROAMING fits your trip
Compare the actual plan for your destination with alternatives on an equal basis: same country, data allowance and validity. Then check the details that can change the practical value of a plan:
- Coverage for every destination on your itinerary
- Price in your currency and total data allowance
- Daily high-speed allowance if the plan is labeled unlimited
- Validity and any top-up restrictions
- Calls, texts or a phone number, if required
- Hotspot enablement and device support
- Installation, support and refund conditions
eROAMING is worth considering if its current plan covers your route, fits your budget and provides enough usable data at the speed you need. It is a less suitable choice if you are relying on “unlimited” to mean unrestricted high-speed use, need guaranteed calls or tethering, or cannot install before entering a destination with purchase restrictions.
