Endeavor Catalyst announced Fund V, an oversubscribed $320 million fund, on October 6, 2026. Endeavor says the close brings the fund’s assets under management above $850 million. The organization describes Europe as its fastest-growing market, citing expanding investment activity across the region—but that characterization is Endeavor’s, not an independently measured comparison with every venture market.

What Endeavor Catalyst announced

Fund V is an oversubscribed $320 million fund, according to Endeavor’s October 6, 2026 announcement. Endeavor says the new fund raises Endeavor Catalyst’s total assets under management above $850 million. Fund size and assets under management are different measures: $320 million is the announced size of Fund V, while the AUM figure is the organization’s reported total across its funds.

Endeavor Catalyst describes itself as a rules-based co-investment fund that backs companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs. It says it invests 10% of a round and expects Fund V’s $320 million to attract at least $3.2 billion in fresh capital to those companies. That $3.2 billion is Endeavor’s projection, not a reported outcome of completed investments.

What the Europe growth figures show

Endeavor’s September 2, 2026 release reported 84 European portfolio companies, equal to 20% of its global company portfolio, and $104.3 million in direct Catalyst investment across 10 European markets as of Q2 2026. These are organization-reported figures rather than independently audited measures.

The same release said European portfolio companies raised more than $8.3 billion during 2025 and the first half of 2026. Endeavor divided that total into more than $3.2 billion raised in rounds with direct Catalyst participation and more than $5.1 billion in additional rounds without Catalyst participation. The full $8.3 billion-plus is therefore capital raised by portfolio companies, not money invested by Catalyst.

A later October 7 announcement carried by Yahoo Finance from Business Wire called Europe Endeavor Catalyst’s “fastest-growing market” and reported more than 90 investments across 10 markets, with 20 portfolio companies valued at $1 billion or more. This later snapshot uses a count of investments, not the September release’s count of companies; the two figures should not be treated as conflicting versions of the same measure.

Why the “fastest-growing” label needs context

Endeavor’s reported regional activity supports a story of scale and growth: the organization reported direct investment across 10 European markets, a sizable portfolio-company fundraising total, and a later count of more than 90 investments. But its announcements do not provide a comparison method for ranking Europe against other markets. “Fastest-growing” is thus Endeavor Catalyst’s characterization, not a universal ranking established by the figures published in the releases.

Endeavor Catalyst Managing Partner Allen Taylor, in an Endeavor account published October 6, 2026, recalled Reid Hoffman’s advice: “To be successful in venture capital, you only have to do two things. First, you have to be contrarian… and then you have to be right.” The comment reflects the fund’s investment outlook; it is not evidence of a particular return or regional performance.
