Yes. In End of Abyss, the eight Data Shards are not missable: after the normal ending, select Continue to return to the pre-final-boss safe-room autosave, collect any you missed, then turn in all eight at the Mainframe in Lower Levels > B3 and defeat the final boss again to reach the secret ending. These post-ending steps are detailed in the 100% Guides trophy walkthrough.
How to collect Data Shards after the normal ending
- Finish the story and reach the normal ending. When the game returns to the main menu, choose Continue. The walkthrough says this loads the last autosave in the safe room before the final boss.
- Backtrack through the areas and collect any missing Data Shards. The walkthrough says all eight can still be found after finishing the story.
- With all eight collected, go to the Mainframe in Lower Levels > B3 and turn them in.
- Defeat the final boss again to reach the secret ending.
The Epic Games Store achievement listing corroborates the all-shards milestone with the achievement Shard Collector, described as “All Data Shards found.” Epic’s listing does not document the Continue reload point or the secret-ending steps; those details come from the walkthrough.
Where the eight Data Shards are located
The walkthrough lists one shard in each of these locations:

Some routes require keys or switches. In particular, the walkthrough says you must drain the Reactor Pool to access the shard in Reactor > B1. See the walkthrough for room-by-room directions; its shard routes are not documented on the official game pages.
