Eminem is confirmed to appear on “7 Sins,” a track on Kid Rock’s upcoming album Halfway to Jesus. Complex reported on October 2, 2026, that a representative for Eminem confirmed the feature after fans questioned the listing. The song has not been reported as released, and the album has no announced release date.
What is confirmed about Eminem’s “7 Sins” feature?
Kid Rock included Eminem on the track listing for “7 Sins.” After initial doubts about whether the listing was genuine, Complex reported that it confirmed the feature with a representative from Eminem’s camp. The report establishes that Eminem is credited as a feature; it does not reveal the verse’s content or say the track is available to hear. Complex’s October 2, 2026 report says Halfway to Jesus had no release date announced.
Why are some fans criticizing the collaboration?
Some social-media commenters objected to Eminem working with Kid Rock because of their sharply different public political positions. Eminem has criticized Donald Trump, while Kid Rock has publicly supported him. Complex’s October 1 coverage documented skepticism about the track listing, including comments questioning whether the feature was real; later reactions included criticism as well as support. These are examples of self-selected online comments, not a survey of Eminem’s fanbase.

The comments reported by Complex included “No f*ing way” and “FAKE.” The Daily Beast also reported critical reactions, including “why does em do features with these far right conservatives with completely opposite views?” and “What a f—ing disappointment.” Such posts show that some people see the collaboration as inconsistent with Eminem’s past statements; they do not establish that Eminem has changed his political views.

What has Eminem said about Trump?
Eminem has publicly criticized Trump. The Daily Beast recounted his 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards performance, which included a warning that fans who supported Trump were on the opposite side of a line he was drawing. The outlet also reported that Eminem endorsed Kamala Harris at a Detroit rally in 2024. That record helps explain why the Kid Rock feature surprised some commenters, but the confirmed feature alone does not show that Eminem has reversed or softened his political position.
What has Kid Rock said about the collaboration?
Kid Rock presented the song as an example of friendship across political disagreement. In the album foreword, as quoted by Complex, he wrote: “His verse speaks to something we’ve talked about and that really needs to be heard: we differ politically and on other things, but we’ve stayed friends through it all.” He added: “We hope that sets an example for people who’ve lost friends or stopped talking to family because they think differently.” This is Kid Rock’s explanation; it does not establish Eminem’s private reasoning for taking part.

Kid Rock had described that relationship in similar terms in 2024. According to The Daily Beast, he said: “Let me tell you, I love Eminem; we’ve been friends for many years. I don’t agree with his politics, but I do give credit to him…for standing up and not being afraid to be vocal for that which they believe.”

Yes. Complex identifies “Fuck Off,” on Kid Rock’s 1998 album Devil Without a Cause, as an earlier collaboration. Kid Rock also appeared in the music video for Eminem’s 2013 song “Berzerk.” That history provides musical context for “7 Sins,” although it does not explain the artists’ current political views.

Is “7 Sins” out, and when is the album coming?
The October 2 Complex report describes “7 Sins” as a track on Kid Rock’s upcoming album Halfway to Jesus, not as a released song. It gives no album release date. The available reporting also does not establish the verse’s lyrics, a preorder, or physical album formats, so none should be assumed.
